No, if bama loses to geo, they shoud be out. If they beat the dogs, they're in.Cincy should be in right now. Undefeated and a win in south bend,Pretty good just don't mess up between now and then.Hope geo beats bama to foreclose both making it. This would be easier and fairer by having expanded format. Agreed, although I do think the sec will rig it so Alabama wins. No. The SEC isn’t going to risk their integrity when they don’t have too. They don’t need Bama in another playoff. What if Georgia kicks their ass? Is Georgia in on it? Lol....you know Georgia wants to eliminate them in Atlanta so they don’t have to play them again in the CFP. |

We will see. Alabama hasn't looked that great and Georgia looks like it will dominate. Nice way to save face on cinci would be to have an in state game 2 v 3 in one playoff and notre dame (who only lost to cinci and has a win against Wisconsin 4th. Then Ohio state against Georgia in the best possible championship game. That would be a very satisfying end to the college football season.

Then Ohio state against Georgia in the best possible championship game. That would be a very satisfying end to the college football season. ND needs help. They need Georgia to beat Bama. If that happens Georgia, Big 10 (Ohio St/Michigan) Cincinnati, ND I can’t see Bama and ND both in unless Cincinnati loses or Wisconsin wins the Big 10. Now that’s where it could get fishy. Wisconsin won’t get any calls again Ohio St/Michigan. |

Georgia is far and away the best team. Bama isn’t that good, but much better than Cincy. Winner of Mich/Ohio St in, loser out.

You would rather have a two loss team play a meaningless playoff game than clearly show why Georgia is the best team by allowing them to remove all doubt by playing cincinatti. The playoff system was supposed to fix that but it can't if undefeated teams are not the champion. |

There is now a major push to have the bracket enlarged to 8 teams.............and that clearly makes the most sense...........because you do have years where there are a number of 1 loss teams with a legit gripe or even 2 losses with a tough schedule............can't always make everyone happy, but this extension to the current format would shut most people up, just sayin'........................

Putting two teams in the same league while the playoff is still at 4 is silly (and I realize they did it before). And why should Georgia have to beat Alabama twice to win the national championship? |

So far cinci is in but we will see if the committee has the guts to keep them there if they win again, regardless of the rest of the results. |
