outside of Siena, the MAAC conference might almost be okay this year. Which spells further doom for Siena.

With a decent Siena team they would easily be top 20. Maybe it will take Iona to be the ones to build the MAAC back into a top 15 conference.

This is a significant turn around in thinking. This board has consistently for some time been saying the MACC is no where as good as it used to be. Haven't a few of these wins been over non D I teams?

This is a significant turn around in thinking. This board has consistently for some time been saying the MACC is no where as good as it used to be. Haven't a few of these wins been over non D I teams? Yes, the MAAC has changed its rules which allows teams to schedule 1 "in season" down division game a year. Personally, I am opposed to this rule. I'm sure this is a big contributor to the MAAC improving in OOC games this year. The one benefit however, freshman and walk-ons get some meaningful playing time. At the Fairfield-Medgar Evers game, we saw the entire bench for significant minutes. The regular rotation probably saw only about 1/3 of the game. But there was there was much more satisfaction watching loses to Providence and BC by 7 or 8 and winnable till the final minutes than beating ME by 55. I am hope we don't schedule these games "in-season" next year. Play them like you guys did with St. Rose as an exhibition game.

Watching Harvard/UAlbany and the Danes shoot the ball as well as do from deep! They play much better defense though. They actually block shots. Harvard is as good, if not better, than Yale.
