Anyone else receive the Arena’s/MAAC’s presale email today?
Just curious since last time it was (supposed to be) at the TUC (but got cancelled due to COVID) I don’t know how the digital tickets work.
What happens if I have the digital tickets in my phone/account but some of the people attending with me have no smart phones (access to digital tickets)?
Do I simply store all 4 on my phone and that’ll get the four of us in or does each person somehow have to have their own accounts or devices?
Since I forced the NCAA to print me physical tickets (which I had to jump thorough hoop to make them) I’ve never used the digital ticket option which is no longer an option but the only way they give tickets supposedly now.

I'm a LITTLE familiar with e-tickets. I think you can do either. I am not sure of the method, but there should be some way to send each of the tickets to an individual. When the time gets closer, I would suggest that. I would also suggest that you take a screen shot of your ticket with the bar code (QR?). You may need it several times during the day - maybe to get to your seat or verify your specific seat after you are in. If not saved on a screen shot, it's possible you cannot log in to where your tickets are (TicketMAster?) - some people I know have had that problem. Even waiting at the door trying to log in holding others up. All that said, I don't know how Apple Wallet works. It's possible that downloads everything and the tickets (plus QR) are saved locally and that's the way to go.

What happens when two of the people in my group (older folks) who don’t have smart phones of any other devices to accept stickers? Can I print them and physically hand them to the arena ticker collectors? Or, do I just keep all four on my phone and we all walk in as a group of four?

Gee - I defer to somebody else for sure, but I THINK you can print them out. Just make sure it has that QR code. E-tickets seem convenient and clever, but they bring problems that paper tickets did not have. For example, the network connection I spoke of before. Plus, just anything happening to your phone (battery dies, etc). Some people will have tix to double sessions and they usually force you out of the arena after the first, so you got to be able to pull up your second set of tickets. Good luck - hopefully others more experienced than me weigh in as well.

I would assume the NCAA must still use physical tickets in some instances (give-a-way/promotion seats, reserved for the schools who make into the ncaa, etc.)?

E- tickets on one phone can be used for more than one person but you all have to enter together. Most events now don't accept any form of paper ticket. Some venues say they don't accept screen shots but I have heard conflicting results. E- tickets can be sent via e- mail or text however. I was at a Dead and Co. Show at citifield and one incredibly drunk girl had her whole group's tickets on her phone. And she was way too drunk to make it inside. It was a dilemma also because she couldn't recall or communicate the unlock code to her phone to her friends. Not sure if they ever got into the show.

Maybe someone will come up with an option for printing the QCR code on a white covid mask that will serve double duty as you enter...

Anyone receive the email for preorders for this site? I found what I presumed was the same email you got in my junk folder. I left it there.

Me too; I’d rather go to the site that Siena will be in. 🙂 I get tired of having to sell my tickets to then go where they place Siena.
