.....I really think Brian Fruscio would be a great choice by Carm to replace Harley. He has relationships with several top HS and Prep programs on the east coast. We could use his local influence with some of these new transfers. Wright is one of his former players. I dont think Andre Jackson looked very happy at UConn this past year. His guard this year, Jacksons brother, could be a solid pickup with a Jordan King deal. Kid is really scoring the ball this season for AA.
I think its time the areas best HS coach gets a shot on the college level, and I think he really wants to move up. The timing is perfect, and would be a good hire for Siena basketball.

Fruscio was already a Siena assistant under Lanier. He always speaks highly of Siena. Question is does Carm look for that younger guy who willing to grind and grind on the trail as well as be that guy bringing energy. Fuller was more excited over some plays than half the players. Younger guy on staff also helps connect with the players as well.
It certainly is a big hire for Carm. Would be shocked if Greg doesn’t get it and then he hires a New Special Assistant as Miner go to DOBO

How about Taylor Mulvey who coaches at St Thomas More. Local connections with the NE pre connections and much younger. He has a 6-9 kid from Hudson Falls who was just offered by U Albany class of 22.

Fruscio was already a Siena assistant under Lanier. I cant count Laniers last season as a "shot." Lanier and the staff got fired after a 6 win season, so he was on campus for probably 10 months. With Carm locked up and safe, he deserves a real chance to make an impact IMO.

He has always gotten his guys better. Curious to see who he hires

Thinking about this more with Pickett's defection.. why not give someone like Cruz or Oliver a shot at this spot. Carm preaches Siena being a "players program" and that would be a perfect example of how that transpires even past the time of being a student athlete. The greatest college basketball culture in the country does it at Villanova and it has been very successful. I think the college needs to look in the mirror and take a good hard look at what they have looked like the past 11 years. Yes, two regular season champs in a row is nice but the inconsistencies are evident. Really hoping the women's program can turn around, too, with this new hire. How come that hasn't been discussed on this board at all yet?

And I have no idea what Oliver is doing? Do you?

Maybe stealing Steven Cruz from St. Peters to replace Harley could get us Estrada from Oregon too? Cruz is a good choice for Fullers replacement anyway, but the Estrada connection would certainly sweeten the deal!
Estrada is a 6'4" PG, former ROY in the MAAC, who would have 3 years left. He'd be a nice fit for our group.
