PG - McCollom Fr
SG - Hopkins Sr, Owens Fr
SF - Carpenter So, Billups Fr
PF - Golson So, Arrington Sr
C - Stormo Jr, Young So
Transfer
SG SF Johnson Jr
you can probably lump arrington, young and stormo together. You can also lump billups and maybe golson together though i think Billups has a better handle.

Maybe I am too slow to change and too frustrated to adapt. I loved following Siena year to year, seeing players grow and following their college careers. Now, it is "wait 'til the dust clears in August and we will see who is on next year's team (which will be quite different than the last year)"..... No use in listing potential team as the portal beckons for more and the power conferences will feast on the mid-majors. College basketball landscapes changed tremendously, and I sure don't like the new normal.

Update 4/14 PG - McCollom Fr SG - Hopkins Sr, Owens Fr SF - Carpenter So, Billups Fr PF - Golson So, Arrington Sr C - Stormo Jr, Young So Transfer SG SF Johnson Jr, G Gaines Sr, G Rogers Jr If I have things right, Gilson is still a freshman, Rogers is still a soph and Gaines is still a junior since this season did not count.

Correct... though I know Gaines is planning on one year only as of now.

I think we have to assume that everybody is planning on one year only at this point. 🤦♂️

If Carm wins with this roster he's the real deal. TBD.

If Carm wins with this roster he's the real deal. TBD. I like where we are at. We are deep long and athletic. I really like a few of the upper classmen Carm has brought in for leadership. Last years team really missed Burns, his stats were replaced but not his leadership. I believe that was addressed with several of the new comers

If Carm wins with this roster he's the real deal. TBD. This roster is what attack and finish looks like - a deep assortment of long athletic guards at the 1-4 surrounding a single big man at the 5. Free throw shooting - an Achilles heal last season - looks to be significantly improved as well. That's huge. You're looking for that singular PG who brings up the ball into half court sets, but that's not how they'll be playing. Any one of 4 guys will be doing bringing the ball up in rapid transition on makes and misses. We'll be seeing a lot less half court pick and roll. That was Pickett's game - not Carm's intended offensive style. Did we one-for-one replace the talented players that were lost? No. But now instead of relying on 2 or 3 guys to carry the load any given game with everyone else not producing much - they've for 9 or 10 guys capable of giving them 8-10 ppg every night. This team is now deeper, longer, tougher, and should actually hit its free throws. The lack of apparent superstars is made up for with a whole that's greater than the sum of its parts.

I agree and while we lost talented individuals I’m hoping that as a “team” we’ll actually improve. I’m thinking we may actually be a better “team” this year.

Attack and finish is code for we have no 3 point shooters and the offense will struggle to score in the 60s. Like I said TBD. I for one think the offense is hard to watch and getting to the line and coming up empty is even more frustrating to watch. FT shooting isn't on the coach, let's hope these guys can cash in at the line.
