Yeah - this one was a shocker. "This has nothing to do with basketball," King said. "I was very happy basketball-wise. There's just some things going on with my life where I feel I needed to step away from Albany." Will be interesting to see where he ends up. Good luck Jordan! Nothing for nothing--- that could be 100% correct. But also know he was never going to say Carm is bringing in transfer

Getting minutes and winning usually keeps kids happy. Cant help but thinking this might have to do with the "possible coaching changes" Carm referenced yesterday.

Maybe he just got tired of being referred to as the fourth guard

Jordan, good luck in the future and you will be missed. Thanks for your two years here.

From what King says it was basketball related. I wish him the best and hope a new environment is beneficial.

This has been an extremely difficult year for all of us. I wish Jordan nothing but the best. Hope he finds success, peace and the happiness he is looking for. I will miss cheering for him in the green and gold.

im thinking carm may have locked up another player we have yet to hear about. he may also just be feeling things out to see if there is anyone out there that would take a look at him.

Third teamer, Jordon exceeded expectations. For whatever reason he’s decided to move on. Let’s see who fills the slot, until then we don’t know the true +/-
He’s a MAAC level player/talent I suspect he winds up in a comparable league and role .
Best of luck, he was a class kid while here and gave it his all! Hope it all works out.
Starting and big minutes are tough to give up.

I take him at his word when he says it wasn't basketball related. We have no idea what might be going on in the young man's life that makes him feel the need for a fresh start, and I hope he gets that. Sorry to see him go as he was a great competitor and easy to root for. This one hurts because much like the Harris transfer it feels like it was driven by a weird situation where there was probably nothing we could have done to prevent it. Best of luck to him!

This is a shocker. If we did a poll on the most likely to transfer I would think JK would have been the long shot. Just goes to show you never know what is going on in a kids mind. Hopefully he finds the right place for whatever he is looking for personally and doesn’t overestimate his potential and shoot to high athletically.
