Why was Marist moved to Saturday/Sunday instead of Friday/Saturday? Makes no sense. Just makes Siena play more games in a shorter amount of time.
I get the reasons for scheduling changes but that one makes no sense.
Anyway no excuses. Carm and the boys will be ready for the Foxes Saturday at 1pm!

I know the league is really trying to allow a full 24 hours between games. I'm guessing they thought it would be easier to do 1:00 on Saturday and 3:00 on Sunday than have to start at either 5:00 on Friday or 9:00 on Saturday.

Maybe Marist women are home then? Otherwise Friday at 5/Saturday at 7 would’ve worked. We’ve been going with the 22 hours prep the rule is the second game can’t start less than 24 hours after the first game started.

dailygazette.com/2021/09/07/guilderland-high-school-graduate-maxwell-takes-over-suny-cobleskill-mens-basketball-program/Maxwell had been hired as an assistant coach last October at SUNY Cobleskill. Prior to that, Maxwell spent five seasons as the head coach at SUNY Ulster. During his years at SUNY Ulster, he led the program to four NJCAA Division II Region XV tournament berths, as well as a Region XV championship, East District championship and a spot in the final sixteen of the Division II NJCAA championships in the 2017-18 season. Prior to SUNY Ulster, Maxwell spent two seasons on coaching staffs at Buffalo’s Hilbert College and Canisius. Maxwell, 34, played for coach Ron Osinski at Guilderland High School. Maxwell’s years at Siena saw him play for Fran McCaffery, who guided the Saints to NCAA tournament berths in 2008, 2009 and 2010 before taking over the Iowa program.
