The Hall of Fame announce two other Bubblevile events at Mohegan Sun today. In one, St. Bona, Towson and Stephen F. Austin will compete. In the other, the teams will be Buffalo, Iona and Vermont.
It is not clear whether these or Siena's grouping will be round robins or a fourth team will be added. I tend to think it will just be a round robin among the three.
What is clear is that there would appear to be other quality opponents who could be available for the third game at Mohegan Sun.

Tre is the best player we'll face until the NCAA Tournament. He's a monster and he's only getting better. This is a great game for us to play. Hope we're ready to go.

Mark Singleais article in the TU says that Siena is going to have to pay as much as $60,000 to play these three games. I hope that, if the time comes, and the school asks for some financial assistance, Saints fans will respond as best they can. Siena Athletics has incurred a considerable amount of unanticipated COVID-19 related costs, and have had to cancel three major annual fundraising events that the department relies on heavily to supplement its budgeted expenses.

22, since you are really plugged in at Siena, wonder how a pay per view ZOOM session with the team playing an inter squad scrimmage or just a look at a practice - I'd pay for the chance to see our guys play a little before sitting down on Turkey day...perhaps you could grab John's ear...ZOOM apparently has intro'd a pay per session option...

That particular idea, and some others, are being considered. Early stages of discussions.

Rothstein reports that UMass will play Iona at Mohegan Sun. Perhaps we can get a game with one of the other teams in Iona’s pod, either Buffalo or Vermont.

UVM website is reporting that Vermont will play Buffalo on Nov. 30 at Mohegan Sun and will also play St. Bona there. Since we are looking for a game on that date, three of the potential opponents have been eliminated. That appears to leave Towson and Stephen F. Austin as potential opponents for a third game, subject to there being other pods.

Eight of the nine teams in the three pods announced today are ranked in the college basketball top 144, as follows:
St. Bona. 60 Vermont. 71 UMass. 72 Buffalo. 76 Delaware 94 SFA. 114 Towson. 123 Siena. 125
Iona is not ranked.
One of the divisions of the Hall of Fame tourney on Nov. 28 and 29 involves URI, South Florida, Temple and Virginia Tech. I wonder if one of them might want to play on Nov. 30.

From Bonnies newspaper
Sources anticipate that St. Bonaventure will also add its annual Franciscan Cup rivalry game against Siena College to the trip itinerary, as the Saints will also be in the bubble. That game, however, has yet to be finalized as of Friday evening.

Speaking of financial assistance, I just sent in my annual Saints Alive donation a few days ago. I’m about a month behind; I normally provide it before or on the kick off the season get today the TUC. So I guess I should have made it when they had that Zoom meet the team get together. Saints22 is correct though, let’s try & not forget to make our annual donations (assuming we still can due to the financial uncertainties with our everyday COVID lives). I’m one of the fortunate ones who’s still working and able to do so from home. Go Saints!!!

I think this is a great idea and I’d be willing to pay to watch. Somehow those last few words don’t sound so good if taken out of context. But, I hope you know what I really mean.
