🤷‍♂️That’s why it’s only worth posting what’s actually public While I jumped the gun and regret it when it comes to Kentucky it wouldn’t have matter even if he publicly announced Siena. He would have went to Kentucky. They have pills for this premature posting

Fouls an TOs per minute look to be an issue.

6'9" Jeremiah Nyarko is a kid we should be all over. Would forget all about AA. This is a job for assistant coach Onuaku. He's the one that would be working with him. He committed to Stony Brook

For what it’s worth, Almonor was scheduled to make his commitment public Thursday. Kentucky contacted him Wednesday night.
My understanding is that GMac and staff have someone else lined up to visit.

some of the Wildcat fanboards are not pleased with this interest, basically saying he is a bench guy with the talent that Pope already brought in.................so that begs the question, is he getting more at UK for a minor role of less than possibly 10 minutes a game?...........that being said, this kid pulling our chains, he deserves some really bad kharma......................... When a top 5 program comes calling I don’t know to many kids that would say no. How much more would he get being a bench guy at UK? Would it be more beneficial for him to go somewhere and play for a year, upgrade his stock then cash in the following year by getting a starter slot on a power conference team? There are two reasons I can think of why not to do it this way. 1) He believes he can crack the starting lineup at UK and cash in next year. 2) He is getting significantly more cash to sit on the bench and not play or play very little. I would then assume that playing basketball isn't his priority. In this "Wild West" of NIL, these kids are susceptible of being manipulated by these "agents" who are just out to make a buck and give the players false hope or false information to line their pockets. We see many players entering the portal and never finding that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. I hope he gets what he is looking for and is being managed by some honest and ethical people.

The mindset of a top athlete is that they can compete with anyone if just given a chance. So I don’t think he is just thinking that he would just be cashing in and sitting on the bench. He is probably thinking all I need is a chance to prove myself and if they are going to give me the money, and exposure and experience of KY basketball it’s a home run all around.

MONEY--90%.....PT @ Blueblood--10% and if Jaxson Robinson pulls out of the NBA draft (from BYU), he is listed as a possible mid-to late 2nd rd pick decides to go to KY instead and join his former coach Pope, that will eat all of AA's minutes for sure. same size & position........this could happen because Robinson could stay another yr and upgrade into a 1st round selection the following year for sure.......interesting............

Get real … players are now hired guns … they’ll chase the $$$ for 4 years (no longer is it about getting a free ride for a college education) … for most after playing at multiple colleges they’ll be heading overseas without a degree … low level NIL players will have spending money (no job necessary while at college) and a degree … fans will see mostly a new roster every season and spend the off-season discussing departures & new arrivals

Word is Pope wants to redshirt AA. Congrats! TU article today: If Siena loses Almonor as expected, McNamara would have two scholarships remaining for next season, if he chooses to use both.

I’m confident GMAC won’t make the mistake of his predecessor and hold any scholarships. It might have made sense pre portal but with the movement in CBB you should be all in and use all 13. Spots will inevitably open up every offseason even if we currently only have one senior (Wilmouth).
