One down, one or two to go..... I usually like what you post...this was a little rough around the edges Sorry it came across as being a bit harshly worded. It wasn’t intended to be a knock on anyone specifically or intentionally. I just expect to see 1-2 more spots becoming available and if it should happen I don’t think anyone would be overly surprised.

If Ratliff wants to stay D1 he has two options: 1) Stay at Siena this year, graduate and transfer wherever he wants next year 2) Transfer and sit out this year burning a year of eligibility, hope to find a school that would give him a scholarship while sitting out that season, and then play there next year.
I see absolutely no reason he would choose option 2. So he's here for next year unless he's going D2.

You forgot one option: Carm tells him there's no scholarship for him this year (scholarships are renewed on a yearly basis). Happens all the time, especially when the coach that bought you in, isnt there anymore. It's a business. Carm, like every D-1 head coach, is judged on wins/losses. I'll be shocked if Ratliff is on next years roster, but who knows? I think he needs to suck it up and drop down a level for a new place to play.

I’m sure Ratliff is a great kid but when the coach is running with walk-ons in garbage minutes and you’re still sitting at the end of the bench there’s a message in there somewhere.... He’s probably better suited for D2, there’s nothing wrong with transferring to a level where he’ll see more playing time.

If I heard Carm correctly on his appearance with Levack and Goz, he said he had worked with both Luke and Georges to find schools where they could continue their basketball careers. Has anyone seen where Darwiche is headed?

At first glance I thought Darwiche had committed to the Big 10 Minnesota Golden Gophers. That was a brief but large WTF moment for me.

"Georges is a point guard with a strong outside shot and great ability to distribute the ball"
Ok.
Glad he found a spot!

11-18 DII program. That is about right. Wish him success. Another good move for the player and the Saints program.

Georges was a good member of the Siena family. Never reported any kind of problems and was a good team member. We all need to join together in wishing him the best, both in basketball and his education program at his new school. A great young man. Georges, the best to you.
