I have going to games since the Siena Indian days. What I would like to see is the fanatic students back filling up all the end zone seats all decked out in green and gold. I would like to see the cheerleaders leading the cheers, not sitting in the corner of the court waving pompoms. What happen to the tumblers and cartwheels? This was a great season showing Siena held home court advantage. How can we make it better, what do you think? Give your ideas. PS How about a hot dog and soda for $5 for the kids.

Easier to sell the students when the team is good which is exactly what happened this year. A lot of kids bought dog pound but didn't wind up going much. The hot dog and soda idea isn't a bad one I just doubt the TU Center would ever agree to set prices that low

some sort of motivation for more students to show...are there buses running from the campus? the last game I saw at TUC (during JC) there was 1 person sitting in the student section. and wasn't much different during JP...agree with winning, but doesn't seem like they have any interest

Iona - Siena scheduled for last game of the regular season both tied for 1st place going in - up attendance for that one 12000 fans in the house.

No one turned away at the door, have a policy to open up more sections as you hit capacity downstairs. The only one that gets rich by forcing people to buy tickets ahead of time online rather than at the box office is Ticketmaster.

A fanbase that does not sit on their hands most of the time, but one that cheers all game, every game. Games are starting to look like an AARP convention. Time to start handing out Geritol before every game? The fanbase needs to get younger.

Hard as I try, I still keep getting older and considering the alternative that's OK.

I have been going to Siena games since the arena (Knickerbocker,Pepsi,Times Union) opened and I would say the same thing as Hoopdad is saying now! It's funny now that I am the senior at the games and I am as vocal as ever but the fact of the matter is the AARP group is the heart and soul of our fanbase. The best you will get is a polite applause and for very good play they will throw in a standing ovation!GO SAINTS!!

Three things. First, a brand of basketball against better teams (CAA, A-10) that is so exciting (winning, fast & aggressive) that fans feel they have to see Siena games. Second, Siena has a marketing management major. Task that group to come up with a marketing program that will increase the average attendance to 8000 within 3 years. Third, recruit the level of players to accomplish the first two.
