What an amazing group of talent If you can name them all, #1 you are old..#2 you have great eyes, pic is very small..BTW thats the 1979 team, not 78.. Number 15 in Holy Cross uniform is Ron Perry-- very good player but I dont remember him making any All American teams-- he was drafted by both the Celtics ( 3rd round) and White Sox in MLB-- he played minor league ball for two years for Glen Falls

Tony - I was ten and this was back when college hoops was more fun and guys stayed 4 years and you got to know them rather than today when the rosters are in constant flux and you could listen to sports talk radio and banter with Granack. It was the pre-season All American team again when you couldn't wait to get SI and see who was on the team and who was ranked #1 to start the season.
Mike O'Koren - UNC Jim Spanarkle - Duke, he and O'Koren went to HS together James Baily - Rutgers Bill Cartwright - USF David Greenwood - UCLA Dr. Dunkenstein Louisville Sid Moncrief - Arkansas Ron Perry - Holy Cross Larry Bird - ISU Magic Johnson - MSU
Only one I got wrong was Moncrief as I said Darrell Walker who was more like 83. Back then schools like HC, USF and ISU could get these players and they got recognized. Simpler times.
Dr. Dunke

Damn, that was an easy one!! Since you already posted the answer the only thing not mentioned was the coach. Foster from Duke. This was the 78-79 team so you and Tony were both right . That looks like a Playboy AA team?! Ronnie Perry was a legend back then!! Moncrief was part of the “Triplets,” at Arkansas along with Ron Brewer and Marvin Delph......and DT Dunkenstein was Darrell Griffith
