The one in Ohio was an "ask". I would assume if the NCAA shuts out the fans we get refunds. Otherwise not. I'd be shocked if the decision was made to play the games in empty arenas that the NCAA didn't refund the cost of the tickets. Horrible PR move not to plus the lion's share of their money comes from the TV contracts anyway. More problematic is the money that the arenas are counting on. I'm sure Albany businesses were looking forward to millions in revenue. Sucks. Right, if the NCAA makes the decision. But if the Governor declares no gatherings of more than 250 people like they have done in Seattle then that isn't the NCAAs fault and I'm not sure if they would offer refunds. I really hope Cuomo stays out of it and lets the NCAA decide.

The cbi is cancelled. Also a d3 conference cancelled its entire spring sports schedule. This is getting insane, the death rate among college aged kids is nonexistent!

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine is expected tomorrow to announce restrictions on spectators for all NCAA games in Ohio. Held a press conference at 2pm today outlining some of the measures in the state, with further restrictions to be announced tomorrow.
That means no fans for First Four games in Dayton or 1st / 2nd round games in Cleveland.

This is getting insane, the death rate among college aged kids is nonexistent! college age kids carry the virus and infect everyone else. and because the period of infection is so long they can spread into virtually unchecked 100's...and if college age kids have any copd, lung, asthma, immune system issues of any kind it may affect them. We don't have the medical personnel or institutions to effectively deal with the numbers who may be very ill and require hospitalization. See Italy (who has far more hospital beds per capita than we do)
