Lunardi still has both Winthrop and Northern Kentucky ahead of Siena. For seeding purposes we would actually prefer the toughest path to the MAAC championship by NET rating which would be Manhattan, Monmouth, Rider. That's a lot of physical basketball though. What’s the best path to WIN THREE games? That’s all that matters.

I would think Quinny beating Monmouth would also improve our chances but a team that relies on the 3 so much always terrifies me in a tournament situation.

Were the MAAC a 12 team league and Quinny just had to play a 5-12 game last night then I would feel a lot better about them winning tonight and having dead legs the following round.

Woo-hoo, that definitely opens the door for at least a shot at a 15. Two more upsets would guarantee us a 15 with a MAAC Tournament win.

Updated NET has Winthrop 148, Northern Kentucky 150, Siena 151, Boston U 160. With two more wins we should finish on top of that group which should mean a 15 seed. Two more upsets would pretty much guarantee it.

Should we go all the way, I don't think there is any way that we wouldn't be at least a 15! NCAA has long spouted one of the evaluating factors is how a team is playing lately - we will have been on a 12 game win streak and 14 out of the last 15 to say nothing of being undefeated at home...

Actually being undefeated at home hurts you with the selection committee, they put more focus on your record in road and neutral games. I think ultimately they will look at it from a which team would you least want to play now standpoint and from that group it would pretty clearly be Siena.
