Yeah, why isn't Harris getting heaps of praise tonight? He was not only diving on the floor making plays but put in one of the best recoveries on a lob pass I have ever seen. Had multiple deflections on defense as well. His energy and athleticism won the game tonight.

Pretty obvious that this team both against Rider and Manhattan was at there absolute best when they were running and pushing tempo.

From my seat, I could definitely see how Manhattan players changed their shot when they saw him bearing down on them. To think he is only scratching the surface...

Several times as we broke the press we could have attacked the basket but we pulled it out, slowed it down, and then struggled to get off a good shot before the buzzer. I will say nice adjustment by Carm putting Jalen into the soft spot of the zone at the foul line. It helped get him a couple of baskets and create for Burns.

Absolutely JP was being dogged by 2 MC defenders relentlessly at the top which really bogged things down. Good move by Carm, it broke the drought.

Up tempo, delayed fast breaks, and cuts to the basket just as Sammy did and today and Manny made the perfect delivery for a great Sammy finish.
Jalen and Carey and King all did a great job today keeping their dribble and switching directions to avoid traps and turnovers.
Agree though they need on a more consistent basis to have that killer instinct and to keep attacking through to the end of the possesion and finishing rather than pulling out.

Well, from our perspective, it confirms that the Manhattan administration isn't looking to hire a different coach who might propel them to some of their past basketball glory. A good thing, though I don't like Masiello's thug brand of basketball. They'll be permanently in our rearview mirror for quite awhile now that things are getting right again with Siena basketball!

I'm guessing they re-upped him because they like the direction he has the future of the program going with incoming recruits and don't want to interrupt it with a rebuild?

I think the reason they don't push the ball on the fastbreak more then they do is because of depth. I bet we start seeing them push the ball much more frequently next year.

Thanks, I was wondering...could have been a lucrative day for the 50-50 with the big crowd.

Thanks, I was wondering...could have been a lucrative day for the 50-50 with the big crowd. I couldn’t get my gambling fix the last two games. Just kidding, I don’t consider 50-50 gambling; rather it’s just my way of donating to a good cause with the every so slight a chance to win. Speaking of gambling, I still don’t get why Rivers doesn’t allow us to gamble on NYS college games. I believe they allow us to gamble on non-NYS college games. I’d bet on Siena, if I could (legally).
