of course as most of you know, Joe Lunardi typically is doing an update 2 times every week on espn.com...............and he has been super accurate once the dust settles if not nailing the entire field or perhaps only miss by 1 team...............anyway, he also has the field set by location, again his accuracy in most cases is amazing.............and the one he did today would have most local fans here jumping for joy, imho.........for Albany he has # 2 East Seton Hall - #7 East Rutgers - # 4 West Villanova - # 5 West Iowa (as higher seeded teams of the 8)........obviously way far ahead for that, but that would be some dream matchups on that Saturday, the two NJ talented squads facing off, then our beloved Fran returning to Albany to play Wright/Nova.......what a FANTASTIC set of games that would be with the winners going to the sweet 16...........here's hoping we get that lucky when the teams/brackets are officially announced................

latest update today shows the following...................I really like having teams in the seeds # 3-7 range as I believe it makes the games on Saturday (if the higher seeds do indeed advance) terrific..............
East Region - # 4 Villanova vs. # 13 N. Texas and # 5 Kentucky vs. # 12 Yale South Region - # 3 Seton Hall vs. # 14 Colgate and # 6 Penn St. vs. # 11 Florida

What region/venue do they have Siena playing and against who? I just know we can't play in Albany unfortunately....if we can get to the NCAAs this year don't care if it's on the moon!

Cool!!! While we (Siena) can’t be the first D-1 16 seed to take down a 1 seed, maybe we can be the 2nd. Besides, Siena’s already in the NCAA Tourney record books for being one of only a handful of teams with a loosing record to get a Tournament win. We may have been the 2nd team at that time to do it (if not 1st).

Regarding the “conflict”, I’m actually wishing for one; meaning I’m wishing for Siena to make the NCAAs so I can sell my Albany region tickets in order to purchase tickets where Siena’s places (hopefully somewhere on east coast , south or mid-west). Sort of what I had to do in 2010 (sell my Buffalo region tickets to watch Siena play in Washington against Perdue). Although I didn’t make that trip but the games were in the same day so I saw no sense driving to Buffalo only to leave the game & watch Siena in a bar.

I don't think very many people are going to watch basketball in Albany than fly to see whoever the saints are on Friday then come back watch the Albany games then fly out to watch the saints play the round of 32 game.

Exactly, that’s why I’ll have to sell my Albany region tickets - to be able to go where Siena’s playing.

Jerry Palm of CBS has Siena playing Norfolk State of the MEAC in Dayton for the right to take on Kansas in St. Loiuis on Thursday. Kansas should play in Omaha, which is 100 miles closer, on Friday instead.

Prairie View A&M, not Norfolk State. Norfolk State is projected to play Robert Morris. T-Rank, Haslametrics, and team rankings currently have Siena in the field as a 16
