UA dropped Oneonta, maybe they're available? You really want 'em? Facetious. EVERY D-3 is available if a D-1 calls.

I don't care if we ever play Albany again. Last time at the TUC we were displaced from our seats to accommodate Danes fans. Then they reciprocate by shutting out thousands of Siena fans at Sefcu while jacking up ticket prices, some kind of hospitality, in their devious face slap.

Don't get me wrong I would prefer a mid major but we need three teams willing to START a home and home in Albany. Because of prior scheduling woes I think it makes perfect sense to buy a win.

Really we need 2, 3 would be ideal but the number of season ticket holders that aren't going to renew cause of only 13 home games is certainly less than the cost of a guarantee game.

Some good thoughts about scheduling. Lots of ways to skin this cat. The worst would be 3 for 1 or worse with a top program.

I would think continuing the Harvard and Colgate series would be a good place to start. Since we visited them both this season it is an easier sell to start a home and home next year in Albany. There really isn't a team in the MAC or MVC that you say no to if they are willing to start a home and home in Albany. Even one of the top teams from the OVC (Belmont, Murray St, Austin Peay) would be a good get. Would be nice to get a series going with Vermont again as well and Stony Brook would be solid too. Great suggestions. I would love to see us start playing Vermont again. And Murray State is my alma mater, but I would feel awful guilty rooting against them. Go Saints!

Please,do not schedule any more low major games;is it not enough that were playing in the worst D-1 conference in the country! How far do we have to fall before someone in (charge)says enough is enough. We have a new young coach now all we need is a new direction for the program.GO SAINTS!!

Facetious. EVERY D-3 is available if a D-1 calls. Lol. I didn’t even consider Oneonta. I thought you meant Albany.

Looks like only 13 home games next year. If so, I’m sure they’ll reduce the price of season tickets.... Bahahahahahah!!!

If we believe in carm (and I do) we need to try and start scheduling up games. I know it’s easier said than done but if he’s recruiting solid talent we need to be looking at a10 and even offer the likes of local bigs like St. John’s/Boston College a 2-1 deal. Not sure they will take it but I’d rather try for low end majors then try and play UM Baltimore or LIU Brooklyn.

With the current system there is no incentive for power conference teams to have non-conference road games period and if they are going to go on the road it will be to play another power conference team. At this point the bottom of the A10 would be difficult to get a home and home with, even UMass took a 2 for 1. 2 for 1s also make future scheduling even more difficult as you are committed to more and more road games. Focusing on home and homes with good midmajors is the only realistic path forward. It is too bad the Bracket Buster has never been resurrected.

Someday the NCAA will require the majors to play at least one OOC road game a year vs a mid-major.

Yeah forget the power 6 team (Stanford/Syracuse) barring an unusual situation they’re not going here anymore. But I don’t know why you can’t get Davidson, George Mason, URI, VCU, Dayton, Richmond etc to Albany for a home and home. Anyway this years OOC was pretty good for Siena. We played 7 out of 9 against winning teams (just need to win more of them!) Next year with hopefully a stronger roster the schedule (outside of only 13 home games is set up well) a bunch of good mid-majors and potentially get three high majors on a neutral court (that’s where you have a chance not on the road with their refs in a money game see Xavier)
