I have got to say the future is looking very bright for our Saints!
In two years the shortest starter could be 6-5 with every player on the floor being able to play multiple positions - W O W!!!

Wonder how many assists he had... Who cares? 31 against a starting line-up of kids going to :Kentucky, Syracuse, Maryland, Boston College and UMass is good enough for me.

CARPENTER LOOKS GREAT! Brewster has a kid going to Valpo that was teammates with our ‘20 signee BK. He can play! They must have had a great HS team in Chicago.

for those wondering v AC is #25 in white-- some nice moves to the hoop, I mean its highlights, so we dont know how many misses, but his outside shot looks good. a nice PnR pass for hoop, one silly turnover when he got caught between shoot or pass-- but overall looks very good

Like most mid major freshman he will need to add a bit of muscle, but that short clip is very promising. His shot looks great, and even though we don't see misses I did notice every one went in completely clean which is encouraging (no friendly rolls). He looks to have a good eye for passing and a solid basketball IQ- somewhat similar to Pickett in his ability to adjust in the lane to get his shot off against bigger guys. Was also encouraged by what we saw on a defense- Carpenter was involved in causing a steal and had a block, and seemed engaged in guarding his man tight.

He doesn't look like a PG in that film. More like a scoring guard. Would like to see more PG plays from him.
I mean, if Pickett and Carey are around, we don't need a PG but still, it would make his upside that much higher.

Not a lot of D being played in that one, 90-79 that was an offense showcase. Those kids were going up and down at a good clip. Brewster’s team definitely has some athletes.
Looks like Carpenter has more than a few tools, hits from the outside, gets to the rim & a decent handle. Hard to tell off a one highlight game clip be he appears to a combo guard, Siena brought him in to play on and off the ball. Looks like he fits Carm’s system - style of play.

Main thing I noticed was that he finished contested layups with either hand. The rest is just highlights. It will be interesting to see how well his game translates to D1. He seems more graceful than he is explosive. More like a Hasbrouck. Would have been nice to get Gray for that explosiveness to go with him.

A guy who can create a shot for others but also is wired to score. You collect enough of those and you can play without one true distributor.

I see a true combo guard, with size, that fills it up. I ll take 5 or 6 of these kids!

Agreed, if some of these posters saw video of Jalen in prep school they would have said same thing, since baker played PG on Jalen's Prep team. Its one highlight video, but a lot to like if you are a Siena fan. AC is playing at a very high level prep team- so the jump to D1 basketball will be much smaller than a kid going from High school to D1. It will be fun to watch AC's season unfold- but sure looks like we got a good one in AC
