Just out of curiosity, do coaches use current players to help recruit? For example, they have a number of players who have transferred, like Burns, who could give a prospective transfer some insights by telling what their experience has been.

It’s my understanding they usually pair them with a current player for the visit and part of the visit is spent just with the players to get to know the team

This is Dunn's 3rd time going thru the recruitment process so hopefully, if things go well, he'll not feel the need to extend things out.
'They' always say you want to be the first or last visit. Hopefully, we get some good news.

Maybe the visit didn't go that well. It's crickets out here.

Maybe the visit didn't go that well. It's crickets out here. Visit was both Tuesday and Wednesday. He’s probably leaving this morning. Team went to Druthers last night and then went bowling with him. I was told the visit went well. Rasheem barely uses twitter and his Instagram has 12 followers— so we probably just won’t hear much about this kid at all. Expectation is that it’s us or St Johns. St Johns is still recruiting other guys— Donnie Tillman from Utah and possibly a JUCO big. I think we are in good shape.

I guess they pulled out all the stops, lol.

Think Don hosted though not positive. We’ll see what happens. We offer playing time and a chance to win. St Johns isn’t dancing and has a loaded backcourt. Think it will be similar to the Harris deal— he’ll take the St Johns visit and decide. If he opens it up more and sees Arkansas or some of the other spots afterwards then I start to worry.

Seems like Johnnies only have 1 'ship left. Maybe they'll pick up another before he even gets there. That team could probably use a big too.
