Well I might re classify Woods to Siena from zero chance, to slim. St John’s lost their top recruiting asst to Nebraska, one of his recruits is a top JuCo PG has been released from his St John’s LOI and is expected to sign with Nebraska- which would be end of Woods going back to Cornhuskers. Nebraska was Woods only serious P5 offer. Now the Johnnies now need a PG and could get involved with Woods, and any number of P5 teams might need a 1 year rental of an “insurance” guard that Woods could pursue But with Carm’s close ties to City Rocks, fact Jalen and Sloan are friends with him, I officially upgrade Siena’s chances of signing Woods, from 0% to 5% chance. I still think Woods will go to highest level offering, but yes I am now saying there is a chance however slim it might be Ponds is declaring for draft but all indications he is not a first rounder (in fact a very late 2nd rounder) so he may stay for his senior year, and combine him with Heron, the SJU backcourt is full, so Woods is likely not going there....................

Ponds will not be back to St John's
Ponds announced on Instagram on Thursday night that he is entering the NBA draft and hiring an agent, forgoing his senior season.

Siena really ought to try and get Syracuse on the schedule every year.. Would probably help in recruiting the high-level upstate kids and half the Siena students seem to be Cuse fans anyway

Only happened because Craig Forth was from the area and Boeheim had promised him a game near home. And, filling the TU wasn’t a bad deal either!

Ask UAlbany how their deal with Syracuse went ... pretty sure they lost a bundle on it because they had to overprice the tickets. Only 8200 showed up per the box score.

I’d do a 3 for 1 deal but we are already strapped for home games

Maybe we can get a 2 for 1 with Providence or Iowa. Cooley and Fran should be willing to throw their former assistant a bone. Hewitt brought Georgia Tech here - no reason Fran can't bring Iowa in as part of a 2 for 1 deal.
But the biggest key is getting home and home with quality mid-majors (Murray State, Buffalo, Northeastern etc)

I've had a similar thought in regards to Iowa, surely Fran must owe us one?
We really ought to try and get Buffalo on the schedule, also ESPN should bring back BracketBusters but I'm getting us off topic

Given the topic is Adams Woods we have been off topic for a while.
