A big reason for the ranking isn't so much the scheduling, but the horrifically poor play. Through yesterday's games the MAAC is an abysmal 17-42. Marist, St. Peter's, Canisius and Monmouth are a combined 3-20 and only Rider has a winning record through the first three weeks of the season. That's just not acceptable.
The league really needs an influx of young, energetic coaches like Christian and Dunleavy.

Or it needs to relegate some of the historical under performers.

This DOES NOT help recruiting. If you think recruits are looking at the NET, you don’t know much about recruiting. prior coach's recruits didnt look at the NET, the backboard or the ball for that matter. Seemed pretty new to the sport.
