Has the MAAC ever been in the RPI basement before? That's pretty discouraging. Imagine AE and NEC fans bitching about taking a rpi hit playing MAAC teams. Wow... Regardless of your motivation for posting this, one can't argue against it. Hopefully you will agree that we'd all like to see the Saints contribute to elevating the conference out of the cellar over the next few weeks. Are you going today?

No motivation, just pointing out the fact some always looked down on those other conferences. Now we're in the basement no where to go but up. I will not be there today, last game for SU football, chance for a good bowl game. It's been a rough 20 years there but it's been fun this year. Hang in there Saints fans..

College hoop is watered down. This shouldn't be a surprise. The bottom 10 will flip flop. MAAC has bottomed out.

Since Siena has been down the last 8 years -I'm not complaining... but yeah the MAAC is really down this year. The MAAC has to stop giving these mediocre coaches long term contracts-- Siena gave so-so a 5 year deal, Sidney Johnson is MAAC highest paid coach last I looked and is signed thru 2021 season. Steve Masiello is coming to end of line, I think this year will be his 4th straight losing season. King Rice blows- he had the two good years ( and he couldnt even win MAAC tournament despite having best team) his contract runs thru 2021/22 season. The MAAC used to be known as conference of up and coming coaches- of late it has become the retread conf- with patsos, Dunne, Johnson. Hopefully Manhattan fires Masiello, and Siena and Quinny turn it up a notch with their young coaches

Iona loses tonight. Tomorrow could be 0-5. Siena is probably the best shot at winning.

Another extremely poor night for the MAAC - makes me think that, outside of Rider maybe, there are wins to be had in league play.
Siena has played a solid schedule for an inexperienced team and that, along with the addition of Burns in a few weeks, will pay dividends in January and February. Keep the faith.

I hope there are no more international games so we can be 100% outside the USA.
