If Fisher starts yelling out like he did last year he will likely be glued to the bench this year.jmo

Music man seems to be playing the right tune based on what we know so far. I think Seymour might get some playing time as the year progresses. With him it will be if he can get inspired. He does have talent, but he will have to respond positively to the coach.

I think Jc is definitely gonna go with Kadeem, bayer, and Richard. He wouldn't of brought in bayer if he wasn't gonna play. Richard was a guy he recruited at the mount and it's obvious he loves Kadeem who I think it gonna go off in this new system. Those are the three gaurds he's gonna start. The four spot to me is a toss up between camper and shivers. Then the five I would like to see go to Sammy but I think it's Evans to lose at this moment

What do the other two guys you mention offer that he doesn't? I look for him to play a lot. Maybe he won't start, but he gives you a lot of different things that win games, so I think he'll be out there for a lot of minutes.

I think he is going to take to "Mayhem" like a fish to water. This intense training is going nicely complement attributes he already has. He's a smart player and I think he will be playing this year with a lot more confidence. He should definitely be in the mix.

absolutely... he can handle the ball well, has excellent court sense, energy and athleticism, can rebound and block shots, dive-bomb for loose balls- and can shoot lights out - all great skills that will translate well in this system. He's going to thrive under JC-my somewhat biased prediction.

Be interesting tomse if he breaks out of his shell this year. Different coach different times.

I hope this guy can coach looking at these possible line ups, ouch. But that's why they play the games. On paper and preseason picks Siena has to be 10th or 11th. man, I am super excited about JC as the coach, the incredible work he & the staff have done so far in such a short time period is fantastic..........not to mention, the thought of mayhem pressure defense with quick strike offense is very appealing.................but for once, I may have to agree with Papi here, in that if we are still thinking that the core group of the returning players are somehow gonna be stars & take us back to level we want this program to get, we are sadly mistaken.........other than the fact that they have experience, some of them shouldn't be getting major minutes, let alone starting because most are role players that have deficiencies in their game................certainly I wouldn't think just putting all returning players on the court at the same time would be a good thing, imho........conditioning & practices will determine much of the player rotations/minutes..........heck, who is to say the roster is even finalized, future changes could occur before the season even starts..........hard to say what the expectations are for year 1 under JC, but we should keep them realistic and thus be very surprised should a larger # of wins occur than even last year............the key is establishing his system and then obviously recruiting the athletes to effectively run it, and that is built with each recruiting class he brings in, 2019 group is huge in that respect.............

I don’t think many are expecting a top four finish in the MAAC ... what is expected is a well coached team that will be competitive, energetic, and hopefully better than the sum of the parts ... we’ll see tough losses and unexpected wins ... anything more then this would be a bonus

expect positive contributions from Evan Fisher. A hustler who will grow under the new system. Negative posters will have to find a new victim.

I don’t necessarily disagree with anything you say, except the inference that some of us are thinking ‘that the core group of the returning players are somehow gonna be stars’. Not sure who said that. I will say I expect that core and the new players will adjust to JC’s system that will minimize their weaknesses, maximize their strengths and have a plan that will do more than just wait till the last couple seconds to force a shot. I think cohesiveness and continuity will be better and the players will have a better idea of their role. I am predicting that all of that will result in at least as many wins as last year, which will give me hope and encouragement for the future as we have already seen how active JC and his staff have been on the recruiting trail.

If the new kids on the roster this year are as good as the kids who were on the roster last year that left the team, and the rest of the roster that stayed remains equal or better to how they were against the MAAC last year, and JC as a game coach can make a 3pt difference to the positive vs Patsos on both the offensive side and defensive mayhem side of the ball each and every league game of the year, last year's team would have gone 10-8 in league play vs their actual 4-14 league record.
So that's my personal expectations for this year's team - 10-8.
