Now with top 3 gone, MAAC will most likely be in the PIG for the tourney

Iona’s RPI would avoid PIG , could even sneak onto the 15 line. Others would definitely be PIG.

Go for the PIG chance to win a game and earn money for the league. About time someone other than Siena or Manhattan win money for the communist MAAC.

This is evidence of how down the league was this year...and we still sucked.

They giving the tables away just to get fannies in the house They should give them away. I have sat there a couple of times and, while a different perspective, it is not a good way to view the game action.

I"ve sat at the tables under the basket this year several times and agree, but for MAAC tourney tables are a bit higher and at center court, a very good prospective. Not exactly positive what MAAC tourney tables cost think its 1,000 bucks plus cost of seats

Like I said in the one thread, it wasn't impossible for Siena to make a run to the finals if they got hot from 3 with how weak their side of the bracket was. Unfortunately, they went out and laid an egg and it will be Quinny or Fairfield that takes advantage of the weak side of the bracket to go from play in game to finals.

Siena never won back-to-back games (from time since 1963-64). They were one of the worst teams in D1. It was almost laughable it was put on the board. I get optimism but be a realist. Quinny for one has a real coach. St. Peter's plays an ugly style and Rider choked like they always do. Siena finished 8-24 but was lucky they weren't 3-29 when you look at how many close/OT games they won. Siena has a terrible coach, no PG, bunch of young players and low basketball IQ. Plus the team and fans had quit on the coach. Siena was destined for either the loss to Quinnipiac (which happened and was closer to a 30 point game than 9) or a beatdown of Canisius. And yes Canisius would have beaten us down sorry to say. Why would you want to go to the MAAC finals again anyway - to lose to Iona on national TV AGAIN and help save the lunatic? No thanks.

Security tried their best but couldn’t stop the on rush of Siena fans swarming around our seats with about 8 minutes to go as they waited to rush the court. Security was apologizing profusely but we were having too much fun to worry about it!! Those were the days.

And yet Siena dominated the second half against your real coach as his team did everything they could to choke that game away. Siena goes 8 for 20 from 3 instead of 4 for 20 and they win that game. 12 for 20 and they win with ease.

Whoever wins seems like they definitely have to play in a play in game and not even get to the big second round. Does that matter much for MAAC money coming in?
