Should Ali be one of the five? Yup--/ under .500 in the maac and overall by a considerable margin after 4 years-- she is extended through 2020 too. These coaches are easy on my check book-- I see the game from a whole new angle now...

Ok,thanks. I'll still root for who ever is our coach. I don't root for anyone to be fired, but I understand why others would. Just not going to be me ever rootinting for a Siena coach to be fired. To each their own.

if patsos isn't then no way Ali would be put on one. Real world tactics don't seem to apply in cb, instead we just extend them and hope it all works out.

Those who think 3 losing seasons in 4 years is acceptable and a high jumble of transfers to boot. It's a business and these coaches are not winning in the business You win the pissing contest. I'll still choose to root for my favorite team NO MATTER WHAT!!! And no one, read that No One, is saying YOU shouldn't - we all get it - you should too 👍

I'm just countering other Siena fans who root for Siena as a business. I'm not upset at them. They post from as Siena Business fan perspective and I post just from a Siena Fan (not strings approach). POV. We're all good, I like Geoff.

I have been rooting for Siena since I started going to games in the 70s probably longer than you. The coaching is a business which you don't seem capable of separating when fans are frustrated. We support the team and the players and our analysis says the coaches aren't so great and a good business decision might be to find some else - do you understand that

I'll always have more allegiance to players than coaches. This is because I believe the good ones have more allegiance to the program than the coaches. It was tommy Mitchell on the scoreboard telling us to come to the games and buying tickets for community groups, not Lanier, Deane, mccaffery, etc. earlier today I asked myself would mccaffery even care that Lehigh won their game today? How about Siena?

I know Fran still supports some local businesses he sends back Iowa swag. I am sure most coaches root for places they worked in the past especially if athletic staff are still around.

On the flip side I wasn't upset as some for patsos going back to Maryland for a function.

He was already ay Monmouth......practically to College Park. How many times would there be such a reunion? I'm glad he went, and hope he had a good time. Pretty sure he was back at the TUC in plenty of time for the Saints next game. It was a non-issue.

Gina had 8 straight losing seasons and some thought she shouldn't have been let go. Ali's team finished 13-7 in conference. I think she gets more rope.
