In the last two games Siena showed how free throws can make a difference by keeping them in the game at the end. Maybe if that came earlier in the year they could have won a couple or so games. In the second half of the year I hope they can take care of limiting turnovers. In Sunday's game against St.Petes they only had two in the second half after committing nine in the first. Lowering the turnovers comes with the experience of playing together more. The next piece of the puzzle is consistent shooting, both 2's and 3's. The final task is with a deeper bench install an aggressive press. This year when Siena pressed, which is not too often, they forced turnovers. This is a lot to address, for a young team, but its a start.

Thursday-Saturday will tell us all we need to know, Canisius in my opinion was their breakdown not anything we did, we were lucky they missed shots and we hung around. Niagara will be no patsy and Canisius will be looking for blood. If and how we win either of those games will tell us if there is real improvement and in what categories. OD got his tongue in cheek wish, Rob's not traveling. We'll see how that works out. All I can say is I'm really glad we are getting to see the freshmen play.

That must be the worlds worst case of flu ever.

Lowering the turnovers comes with the experience of playing together more. there is NOT one player on the team that has a positive assist/turnover ratio. that's alarming.

That is bad, but not entirely on the players. The offense doesn't put anyone in a position to score. Everyone has to create for themselves. No assists on put backs, 30 foot heaves, or free throws.

Being young and in good shape should aid in his recovery.

Everyone has to create for themselves. No assists on put backs, 30 foot heaves, or free throws. Exactly! Offense is SUPPOSED to put players in a position that uses their strengths to score. We have guys better suited for driving relying on jumpers, we have guys better suited for set shots running off screens, we have guys better at catching and shooting having to create their own space. OD getting the ball in the post is not a bad thing but little to no movement on the perimeter doesn't help..and the coach doesn't seem to complain that they aren't moving, which leads me to believe it is by design
