I wanted to mentiom the strong fans support for this game. Siena fans showed up for this game and it was a fun time for everyone there.

" no balls" marquis made his last 8 shots in the final 5 minutes of the game. Must be the great motivational coaching.

Finally the team guts one out for 40 min and puts a home team securely away, albeit one of the worst teams in the league right now. Keep working, keep building, ONE GAME AT A TIME..THEY ALL MATTER.

Let's not forget that it is usually a little more difficult to win a game on the road that you are supposed to easily win - kids came in last night focused, ready to play and connected - as in Team First. Very obvious the value of having both Nico and Quis on the floor at the same time - Foxes had to come out to challenge them and that made entry passes a little easier - the freshmen also looked sharp with the ball, no Jeopardy like pauses figuring out who to pass it to and when.

It really amazes me the lack of basketball knowledge on this site. What game were guys watching last? The comments about individual players and the coaching and the teams performance show a real lack of understanding of men's college basketball at this level. There is no such thing as perfection in college basketball. I get it that everyone is entitled to their opinions. However when you post on here as if you know so much about the game and your comments show otherwise, it is comical. Such arrogance with so much incompetence. I guess the good news for Siena College is that when Jimmy leaves (I do not believe that is anytime soon) there are plenty of expert candidates on this site for the next head coach. All have strong knowledge of the game, have played at the college level and have extensive coaching experience, etc. How can you call yourself fans, when all you do is bash the program, bash the AD, bash the players and bash the coach, even after road wins at Iona and Marist? I just don't get it.

I listened to the game on the radio...the Siena announcers pretty much gave the impression that there were many calls against Siena that were bogus...if that were true the final margin would have been significantly larger...does anyone that went to the game have an opinion on that...

I watched on video feed. I'm no expert, but I didn't have the impression that the game was called unfairly.

As a old time Marist grad, I'd vote for Skinners (which I don't think is there anymore). Think Dappers but right across the street. Skinners was great. Provenzanos pizza was legendary. Renaissance was the drinking spot! Pizza Bob's for Tuesday night 25 cent beers and $1 slices, sidetacked and Berties were all pretty good too. I didn't hang much at Rennaisance as I lived on campus (and you could not beat the walk to Skinners) Those were certainly the days.

Instead of generally criticizing the folks that don't share the basketball knowledge that you have, why don't you specifically critique their posts. That way it's a win win for the whole board.

I agree! However..some people on this board don't care what they post! And their rhetoric is worse than some political blogs! 🙄

I do not have the time nor the desire to call out each and every one who lacks knowledge on this site. I think my post speaks for itself and most on here know those I am calling out. Instead of them posting as if they are experts on the game of college basketball, know more about the game than Jimmy, know how to coach better than he does, know how to run a college athletic program better than D'Arg, and play them game better than the Saints players, why not state IMO "...". And we all know about opinions, every has one and...
