The only thing I will comment on for this game is Kadeem Smithen's free throw ability:
It's good.

Good: We won, Brett/JO/Quis with solid games...Brett's first half was tremendous. Shivers knocked down some two big threes and a couple of FTs to seal it. Two straight wins for the first time this season.
Bad: Coaching is horrible. We take the air out of the ball and Quinnipiac makes a big comeback. Our basketball IQ is horrible especially for a senior laden team. Nico has obviously checked out - he'll be gone after this year is over. No Richard??
In this game you saw why Siena is 6-11, 3-3 instead of 11-6, 5-1......
Next challenge is to win on the road. If you want to finish in the top 5 you have to win a few road games (obviously).

Good win- nights we shoot well we will always be tough. I must say Jimmy doing a better job coaching, EF and Nico were killing us. As their minutes have gone down team is playing much better. Ef is just too slow off his feet and too slow a foot to be a meaningful player at D1 level- why he was playing him 20 min a game early in the year is beyond me. Nico just isn’t himself physically, and his turnovers and shot selection, just can’t be tolerated. Good to see Jimmy nail his ass to bench whenever he does a bone head play , maybe it’s the injury lack of practice time, or something else, no denying Nico has played like shit most of the year.Like the effort of both Kadeem and Shivers- both gave us good min tonight. Well let's see how next 4 games go—my guess 2-2..or so-so

JP is truly a terrible coach. Siena was up 67-47 with 9 to play and from there on he took the air out of the ball. Ran clock and displayed our terrible half court offense.

He's done this ever since he's been here. Nothing new, always drives me crazy. Better job subbing tonight more continuity. I expected this win let's see how Fairfield Rider and St Pete's goes ....

Are you insinuating that Jimmy is about to have a heart attack? (Joke for anyone who has seen/remembered the movie)

Also to address that thing:
(Via sinegelais: Jimmy Patsos on Nico Clareth: "He just wasn't ready to play tonight, so we have to go without him and Sante (Shivers) was ready.") (sic)

The Nico soap opera continues- not sure it's his health as much as he appears to have "checked out". His first appearance tonight at 10 minute mark he gets in game, takes the ball out, throws a sloppy pass that gets deflected resulting in a turnover, next dead ball he's pulled- in for 30 seconds. No emotion, no energy, disinterested during time outs- he appears to have tired of JP and Siena basketball and appears to be getting ready to move on. Hard to believe that he was one of, if not the most valuable player on this team last year. Maybe someday we will find out what's really going on. Lavon, Brett and Javion were terrific in the paint tonight and the freshmen got some valuable end of game minutes and made some critical end of game free throws that we desperately needed. Shivers looking like he's gaining some confidence in his outside shot- hit a couple of key jumpers to help hold off Quinny run. Felt like it was slipping away but we had enough to hold on. We now need to build on this and take this attitude and confidence on the road.
Go Saints

(sic) Nico went to check in early and had to go back because he forgot to take his earings out....he was not ready from the start. I will give JP credit for nailing him to the bench. Otherwise it was a terrible coaching job the last 9 minutes or so.
