Would love to land Edwards. Could easily give you 8-10 ppg in the MAAC. Have followed Drew over the past 4 years. He would be a great add for Siena. Great ball player who has a high BB IQ and a great teammate! Would love to see him in green and gold!

I've liked the thought of Drew since his name first came up-- good defender, good team player and maybe most importantly would fit well with Carey and Pickett

Special kid who also likes being very involved with the Student body. As a PC fan first (long time Saints fan second) he would bring a maturity level and game time experience that would prove valuable to Siena! I am sure Ed Cooley has reached out to both Carm and Bob Simon....both from Ed’s coaching tree at Fairfield and also PC for Bob. BTW...Bob is an incredible recruiter........

Former target/verbalcommit that we did not accept the commit from Christian Wilson has committed to Lonmgwood. One of those weird recruitment where the kid announced a commitment the school didnt want to accept yet.

Yeah but they may have been on a per dime raid hangover to be fair

Both of these kids played for Fruscio at AA and are coming to Siena as students. Wonder if we add either or both as walk-ons.

I really like the upside of Ward. He certainly has a skill set we don’t have currently have on team. Not worried yet, but want to see Carm close the deal on a kid.

There's some stiff competition for Ward in St. Bonaventure and UMass, the latter of which is located just 30 minutes away from his home. Bob Simon is the person recruiting him - lets see if he can live up to his reputation as an ace recruiter. Be forewarned that Ward won't be a game changer right off the bat. At 6'9, 200 he doesn't come with a college-ready body. He'll need a year or two in the weight room to be ready for Division 1 ball.

chance Ward winds up reclassifying to 2020— was told he may not qualify and could put on weight during his prep year. We’ll see what happens.
