When do we get to start the thread about new coach candidates?
Maybe i'll be interested again when that happens.

I did not see the kids acting like it was ok to lose as they clawed back last night. What I did see was a team starting to find some identity from its bench players. This is what November and December are about. You see what and who work together and what doesn't. Then in January and beyond you apply what you learned. Life is better when you win games while learning and developing. But the learning and developing is what must go on. Sent from my SM-G900P using proboards A few adjustments maybe, but 8 weeks is a long time to find an identity. Its more an understanding they should rise up and grab a W in one or two of those games. Especially with a Sr. Laden team of four 1K career players. There are no moral victories. You are what your record says you are. Only one ball, all four 1000 point scorers and Nico have to figure out how to win together. If you want these guys to get the bulk of the points and minutes its tough to develop a bench.

Maybe there is some addition by subtraction. I remember when Kirsch booted Terwilliger during the season. Maybe someone goes and we develop some role players and a team identity. With the suspensions and attitude issues this is not too far fetched. And we have to get through finals this week and subsequent grading period - again with this crew I am sure that JP may be sweating that out too

Not buying it sorry. I don't care who gets the points. I want to see a game plan and rotations within the game that result in not digging a first half grave they have to kill themselves to come back from and settle for getting close but not getting over the hump. If this team wants to win the key is for Brett and Quis to control the game on the floor. When Marquis is dribbling and looking at the bench for direction, a phrase I heard more than once last night from Scott Knapp on radio there is no offensive flow. You can't flex without flow. You can't flow without trust.

After they roll of a bunch of wins and right the ship make sure your group is still shouting for change.

A tad premature to start speculating about a new hire - we can't guess if D'Arg would be using criteria any different from Jumbo's process. I'm hoping the next hire will be by a knowledgeable search committee and not by one person working through D'Arg.

Time for new blood IMO. Next Siena coach should be a young hungry up and coming guy. Last three have been older-ish coaches with HC experience. Only one has worked out. Look for another Mike Deane or Paul Hewitt. Sure you could get a Lanier but the retread thing has played it's course.

This team has plenty of decent 3 point shooters. The shots will fall eventually. They just lost two games making only one 3 in both of those games. One game a two point loss and last night a four point loss. Winning on the road is tough, but I guess Siena should win all road games or the coach and AD aren't doing their jobs and must be let go. Only on this board. What a joke. It's all about the maac, Siena has a huge advantage playing at the TUC, just hang in there. Pretty sad when MTS bails after 10 games. 3-0 at home. Where has the #1 fan indiansant been? Is he ok? Or is he sick of seeing all the childish behavior out here. Find a post where somebody said we should win all our road games. You think it's a good sign that a senior-laden team like this one with a coach in his 4th season with them should be 0-7 on the road?

Sent from my SM-G900P using proboards I don't disagree with anything you say and I still think we can get things on track. But I don't think it's unfair to say that with 4 seniors and last year's 6th Man of the Year, we should have a pretty good idea of who works together. Granted, there's a few you still have to work in the mix, but you know who you should be able to count on to gut out some wins against several winnable teams. We haven't seen that at all. That is the concern I and others here have. Other than digging big holes and and coming up short (with chances to win, or at least tie), we don't have much to go on. If the shooting, defense and FT shooting was not horrendous, we might be able to be more optimistic. But suspensions and nagging injuries have not helped. Let's see. I am hoping that the rest over the next several weeks will go a long way for that.

I'd doubt they'd form a committee to decide to let him go. I'll just let the other half of your idiocy pass - couldn't be further from the truth but it's Christmas so I'll let you think you nailed one....

I highly doubt there will be coaching change.Just think about it from a fiscal point !! Unless someone has the money for a buyout ?!
