All this "home game" begging, can't hide the truth. You can't sell this game out? Where's your fanbase? You're still such a redhead stepchild in this program matchup, and it kills you. THIS IS YOUR BIG MOMENT. Showing us how important your program is in this area. IF Siena occupys 60% of your building, even you'd have to admit it's embarrassing, but you probably won't The fact that's its not sold out yet is embarrassing, we as a program have a long way to go. You know that I've been verbal in that we don't have the fan base if Siena and for that you are to be commended. We don't get the attendance, yeah... I know and not going to sit here making excuses. Changes little though of what I said above. You have to admit that 7 years ago, we don't get this game... Today we do and it's never going back to the way that it was. Progress... Hence the slow bleed will continue. No one begged for a home game, new ad got here and this is his first contract. Guy told your ad to fall in line and he did... Expect more of that. This isn't McElroy... Your guy had every chance to walk, he folded. The embarrassing part is not only is this game being played in a high school gym but you go and price gouge the local fan by charging 40 to sit in a bleacher bench. The fact that it is not sold out tells you the state of your fan base and how much you are relying on the Siena fans to carry your program yet again. FYI...I am not happy with the state of the Siena program right now but I have my 5 Premium season tickets and my 5 to your place as well.

You should delete your account with this type of "insight"... Yes, siena fan base is carrying the entire UA program. Lmao...

Last update I saw was over the weekend.

UA should kick Siena button according to click by simple numbers of students and financial backing by taxpayers. But they still play in minor league Yes have had success, but can't compare 2 programs. Far as Siena they have selected inflicted the downturn on themselves.

Your repeated and frankly retarded comments about tax payers make no sense... Ever... Dave. What does financial backing of taxpayers have to do with sefcu and UA program. You seem resentful that UA as a flagship campus of a STATE University is in part finances by the taxpayers. How else would you do it Dave? Should UA stop being a state institution and go private? WTF Dave? At least pretend that you have 3 functional brain cells...

To me as a fan its Emberassing because the place should have been already sold out. It appears they have messed up the pricing at least from my limited view.

So my insight is not that far fetched that your admin was relying on the Siena fan base to carry the number....Look i cant blame them it is a smart move and I am sure the game will sell out.

Of course it will sell out, but thats not the point. Should have been sold out weeks ago. With Siena only lucky enough to get their 500 tix allotment, and some crazy season ticket buyers from Loudonville.
This proves, without a doubt, that even their fans/alum really want the game at the TUC every year. Just because a couple UA diehards cone out there "representing" the school, doesn't mean they really want the game at the SEFCU. The majority of the UA alums would rather eat/drink downtown, park in a garage attached to the arena, sit in suites and enjoy the game where it should be every year.
ps---anyone know the last time Siena played basketball at SUNY? '76??

It will be interesting to see what the ratio of fans ends up being.

Predicting future games will be held at TU and it will be taken out of the season tix package if not every year at least every other year.
Playing this game on a Sunday night Thanksgiving weekend was a bone headed move it's a bad day and bad time slot as are the tix prices.
Im almost wondering if it was intentional because they knew it would keep certain fans away and therefore cause less of a stink shutting fans out. Only way you explain normally selling 10k and slow sales thus far....bad day bad time bad price!
What I did like is that had ample opportunity for both teams diehard fans to get tixs. No one has an excuse to get shut out.

When you can't get your fans to buy a season ticket for $100, why on earth did you think they would pony up $50 for one game?
