Watching the Cuse/Providence game on TW 50, and I notice they haven't once yet advertised the televised Siena game this Friday. I've seen advertisements for the televised UA game. Thinking that TW Sports wants people to come to the Siena game this Friday...or they can't imagine they are showing such bad basketball on TV.
Certainly interesting.

I also think there has to be immense pressure on Siena from Time Warner/the corporate sponsorship/downtown Albany businesses etc...a lot of money is being lost. Other than Saratoga Siena is the biggest money maker/attraction in the Capital District. That's why I think it's funny anyone says you don't know what the admin is thinking. Really? Don't have to be a genius to know what they're thinking at all.

Now I'm watching the Siena and Fairfield women's basketball game, tw 50...and now they are advertising the game tomorrow. But, the game is at 1130 on a Thursday morning.
Again, certainly interesting.

This is why the games are on locally! So the Siena "brand" can be appreciated across the state! lol What a joke. This has always bothered me, but now it may be the perfect way of getting Mitch out of here. Attendance will drop considerably the next 2 months (4,000 for Iona on a Friday night?), and even more now that the fans that want the administration to know how upset they are with the direction the once mighty program is going.
At least the fans that are staying home, and for good reason, can watch this train wreck in the privacy of their own home.

I don't think TWC minds at all. The more people that stay home and watch on TV, the better their ratings - and the more they can charge for advertising. The TUC on the other hand isn't liking the situation at all.
