Paul Vandenberg talking about women's basketball not making money for any local schools. Talking about how much better UA is than Siena. Can't believe Coach Abe hasn't gone to higher ground.

What good was it IndianSaint to say the original coaching staff was replaced by better coaches? How do you know that they were better or worse than the present coaches? Why belittle the past coaches on a public forum such as this? Shaking my head I m done for a while. Now the forum will be all fuzzy and lovey dovey Didn't put down her first staff, just observation I believe she rushed to fill them. Coach Mac was by far her best head assistant so far (based on her past experience and observations; which appear to have been true since she is now a HC). Again, her current assistants she had more time to look for and find ;than the few weeks she had when she took the job). Also, Siena women's BBall program appears to have very rarely if ever handed out RS for non-transfers; so others commenting on a conspiracy that Ali doesn't want to give a 5th don't appear to be the case. All I said is I'm not surprised recruits of a prior coach don't stick around for the new coach, it's not uncommon. So again, I don't necessarolu agree Ali's toxic and running players off the team. Maybe she is, I don't see it.

Always positive? Folks on this forum have said negative things about the coach AND the players. Now I m the villain. Please read the past forum threads. That inspired me to post something myself. Where was the angst to stay positive then? Yes, others have posted negative comments; but most are regulars that we know. When a new poster starts out and the first thing they post is negative or rumors we may be a little skeptic (at least I am).

I had to respond to this IndianSaint. A mass exodus from a program 6 players ( Meg is all that remains from 2013 class ) and 5 coaches is fact and not negative or positive. It's just the truth. Combined with the ( someone you know ) who mentioned the top down dictatorship philosophy my opinion is what it is. I assure you that some the people that have not hightened your skepticism have said the same thing in a different manner before I did. I just brought more light to what was previously mentioned

How many were Ali's true recruits (and not Gina's that the school offered prior to Ali coming)? Again, I don't find it surprising when players recruited by former coaches may not like new coach. I admit, I'm not "in the know" so maybe you're onto something. I'll continue supporting a Siena coach till they're not a Siena coach any longer. Then I'll support the new coach, rinse repeat. Thank you for bringing it to my attention, it just seemed like you may have had an agenda that's all. My agenda is clear, I support Siena sports (mainly basketball) and leave the administering of those programs to the Admin. My job is a fan (support the team (players and coaches)).

Thank you for confirming most of the players were not Ali's recruits. As I said before, I'm not surprised that any of Gina's recruits might not want to stay. As for "Ali's first yr recruits" (two of her's leaving) that say it all there; she's done a better job in recruiting after that 1st year (as they haven't left yet). Thanks again for confirming what I was saying.

The jury is still out on whether she s done a better job recruiting. No one confirmed what you have been saying. Losing season with most of her players and let's see who stays and who leaves. Btw it's 2 of her own recruits and one of Gina s that left MID YEAR. That variable is alarming.Even if we have a good recruiter, folks on this blog are suggesting the UA coach take over the program. Do these people have an agenda? Is that a slap in the face to the current coach? Are you skeptical of these people that posted this stuff? Are you one of these people? Hmm

We got people sitting at banquet tables and folks behind closed doors that know what player has been offered on this message board. To feel a commit you must know an offer is on the table. No wonder truth brings out all the sensitivity. And we still have facts combined with opinion and no rebuttal. Blind faith too. Hey crucify me. What do I know ?

Not sure what you are attempting to convey. I saw a tweet from Ali and get the feeling we got another commit. Hoping someone from 4guys or another source can confirm.

Lol. You just made a statement to deflect what I m trying to convey. I ll say this every good player needs consistent minutes. Whomever signs, if everyone returns, the consistent minutes will come from five of the eleven players in place next year. Every good player needs to know they will play 25-30 minutes every game. Even good players suffer if they can't count on that ( Larry Bird quote ) Superstars sign early not in April for the upcoming season most of the time. Those closer to the situation may know more than me
