Same argument can be made for Siena... You've played a shit schedule as well for the most part with the exception of first two games. You're not wrong. Although, Hofstra wasn't exactly a shit game so I'd add that one in. True I watched last night, Siena was very good...

Just saw Willies interview on 13. Backhanded swipe at the Siena fanbase, nice. lol Missed it... What did he say? Lol Basically that all the pressure is on Jimmy and his team because he knows his fans won't deal with another loss to UA (thick with "they think they're better than us" attitude.) Not sure which match-up I'm more excited about, Siena/UA or Aldo/McGregor Sat night (which can be seen my place--**shameless plug)

Guy I'm worried about is Hooley- guy is shooting horrible this year, he is a very good career 3 point shooter and is shooting about 16% from 3- dont want to see him break out. Saints are going to have to control tempo ( and that starts with rebounding) Siena has more team speed than Ualb so the more we can run better off Saints will be. Half court grind it out definitely favors UA. Last two years Brown has played off Wright- almost daring him to shoot from 3 - does he do that again this year?

But still, your point remains. Siena should statistically be a good game this year when in years past our rpi dropped beating a shity maac team on the "road" *shots fired, shots fired*

I'll say this, Brown, who has lived in this area the last 20 years, totally understands what this game means to the fans in the Capital District. Not sure JP ever will..... Really? I think he gets it. as for the Will Brown backhanded comment he insinuated that Jimmy is and should be nervous... Nervous because our fanbase is delusional. That's how I read into it.

Cremo clearly the better player right now. BUT, with our luck, Hooley will wake up from this freeze and probably go for 30.

Guy has been terrible, with any luck he exploded but his struggles are mind boggling scoring the ball. To his credit he's turned his attention to moving the ball and rebounding. Maybe he busts out.

Yes the foul issue is the #1 worry in my mind and I was just about to mention it. Per Kenpom, Albany is 16th in the nation at getting to the line and 56th fewest at putting teams there. This discrepancy is our Achilles heel. If it was 1 or the other ok, but both? That could hurt. With that said, they don't defend 2's overly well and they aren't even close to a shot blocking team. Still, they are rebounding very well and are ranked higher than Siena on both offense AND defense overall and that's a lot to deal with. Perhaps, though the matchup of having 2.5 versatile scoring bigs to deal with gives them trouble. Siena's advantage is that they are a high FG% team and UAlbany's rankings and stats may be inflated erroneously cause they've played the likes of Quinny, Marist, Colgate, Holy Cross, NJIT, Yale. Many of these teams frankly suck this year...especially on offense. Siena will both the 2nd best offense and the 2nd best defense they've faced all year. This one could go either way. I could see how each team could potentially struggle with the other. Same argument can be made for Siena... You've played a shit schedule as well for the most part with the exception of first two games. Running up shooting percentage against the likes of Manhattan, loyola, Bryant etc. Siena also ran up their shooting percentage against Hofstra, but that didn't fit your narrative. So transparent.

You're not wrong. Although, Hofstra wasn't exactly a shit game so I'd add that one in. True I watched last night, Siena was very good... Siena's primary issue is unforced turnovers. The fouling alone, they can work around and is not as bad as last 2 years. It's really the turnovers that are the issue. Last 2 years, it wasn't really an issue. I know Poole and Hymes helped keep it in check but it shouldn't be this bad. For a game here and there, Siena can find that old form. If they turn it over only like 10 times in a game, they can beat everyone left on their schedule. Bisping and JO together is a matchup issue for most teams we play. And when you add Wright, Long, and Nico to that...we have a lot of guys that can just basically do what they want a lot of the time on offense. If Siena takes care of the ball, the advantage is theirs. If they don't, well then it comes down to UAlbany finding another way to lose it...

IMHO...only those who think we can be the next Gonzaga or Butler are over the top. Most just want to never fall out of the top tier of the MAAC and run a clean, competitive program that goes to the dance on a regular basis.

No I meant to include it but the persecution complex is much more fun so have at it.
