You know, it's funny how some people on this board claim Patsos is a lazy recruiter because he mostly recruits in the DMV area. But according to that article posted by IndianSaint above, they stalked this kid everywhere he went. They watched him play in Vegas and Atlanta. They were on him since his sophomore year, stuck with him, watched tons of his games no matter where they were played, and closed the deal before he could visit anywhere else. That doesn't sound like lazy recruiting to me.

I like this recruit. Obviously a staff priority and got him early. Looks to have a solid build and can shoot from three, well regarded in DMV area, played against top quality players in AAU and produced. What is not to like. If Patsos continues to sign his top recruiting targets things should look up.

People down on a kid before he sets foot on the court is insane. The staff had a target on this kids back and closed the deal. Give him a year or two once he arrives on campus before judgement is made. If by chance it doesn't work out its JP's issue. It's a done deal.
Of all of the moves JP's made this is pretty low magnitude on the Richter scale.

This kid will be a real good guard in the MAAC......he can score, and knows how to play. Already has a mans body too.

And a 3.75 GPA sophomore year-- can't hurt.

He looks like he can make any shot. You can never have too many shooters. Seems like a quality kid with smarts who is also a gym rat.
I like him at first blush. Time will tell.

Great get for Siena. Khalil very good player but better person. Nice pick up. Brings leadership on and off the court.

And a 3.75 GPA sophomore year-- can't hurt. Yup! Offered by Cornell and they don't make an offer until the player is qualified by their Admissions Department.

We're going to have a great variety of back court players next year.
