If I am the AD i am placing a phone call. A phone call was made. Explanation is that the paper's computer file pulls in the latest photo, with captions, when linked to an article. No one noticed until too late what was posted. The photo and caption were removed with apologies. Yeah, I'm not faulting the process, but I do think they could have caught this earlier if anyone bothered to proofread the caption under the photo for relevance to the article. If the article was about DD then maybe keep it, but if about BB then find a diff photo.

This has zero to do with Siena basketball today. Who cares. Those guys are gone.

I care. I not only care about current players but also past players. Once an IndianSaint always an Indian and/or Saint.

but Papi, former players continue the legacy. They are a dynamic part of the Siena family -in that sense they "win" for Siena and for all of us who are life long fans of Siena College, including all of the Siena community and current and past players. Once a Saint, always a Saint.

Once a Saint, always a Saint. And if they do very well they can also support the program financially.

Forgive him. He has no clue. I was referring to the whining going on about a photo. Past players can't win anymore games at Siena. I don't think photos showing a mistake about a past players need to be brought up out of the past when the current story is about them in a tournament that has nothing to do with that mistake. As we all see, the TU agrees and removed that oversight. That's what I'm whining about. If he was caught in that same mistake "again" then maybe that old photo would have been more appropriate. But it wasn't so some of us felt outraged that the TU didn't catch it.

It's over and forgotten. It's a flaw of this era that we put up with -- technology is great but there are still stupid humans behind it.

I'm not sure you get to that point by being "a stupid human." Sure stupid humans are out there, but in this case I think it was an oversight and a mistake, which was apologized for.

Forgive him. He has no clue. I was referring to the whining going on about a photo. Past players can't win anymore games at Siena. Show me the text that implied they can win any games here. That is strictly you bringing that up. You never referred to a photo and you are still complaining generically about former Siena greats being discussed in a Siena basketball message board. Why should they not be discussed here? If not here, where? Esp in the off-season. Excuse me maam, but your hate is showing.

I think people complaining about the TU and their reporters is out of line. Funny how when the team loses the reporter isn't doing a good job.

But it's funny how your original post made no mention of the TU or a photo - only that those guys are gone and it has nothing to do with Siena basketball today. You even double down about how they cannot win games at Siena today; still not related to the TU. We understand - you have to get that hate out somehow and not too many opportunities in the off season. Got to take them when you can. It's just that your bullshit can be smelled from a long ways away.
