Duell has 3 more NCAA tournament wins to his name. So does Connor Fenlon. Did he win a third one I don't know about?

Did he win a third one I don't know about? Connor and Josh played the same amount of minutes in the Syracuse win.

Yeah what we should be doing is hyping our career under .500 players over former champions.

Yeah what we should be doing is hyping our career under .500 players over former champions. Yeah and Leandro Barbosa is a better basketball player than Steve Nash and John Stockton combined. And someone tell OD's pro teams that they made a mistake taking him- they would've been better off with Just-in'love Smith. Nothing against any of Fran's players, but god forbid someone says something positive about the current players on the team we all root for, even if it is objectively true.

Yeah what we should be doing is hyping our career under .500 players over former champions. Yes we should if the "champion" is Josh Duell, and the poster is providing one of his contributions is UVM's upset of Syracuse where he never took off his sweats. Don't blame Bisping his teammates up to this point have sucked. He's improved so much it's ridiculous, and I expect him to be an All-MAAC player the next two years for us.

I liked Josh Duell. He was a good glue guy for Fran. He had some skill and was a smart player. I believe Brett is more talented, and much more athletic. Even though, he still would have been a role player on the glory days teams. Hell, RyRo was a role player until the big three graduated!

I like Brett bisping as much as the next guy --- but if he is a winner I bet right now he doesn't care if he is better than josh duell... Means nothing.

Last season was supposed to be Bisping's big year. However, he really got derailed by first mono and then the foot. But let's not forget, he can be an impact player in this conference, especially now that he's among the most skilled and veteran bigs in the league right now. He's capable of big numbers if the offense utilizes him correctly.
Just a recap of Sophomore year (excluding the games he didn't start even though he had some good games in those):
In Games he Started (30 Games) MPG = 28.8 FG% = 50.9% 3P% = 31.3% FT% = 74.6% PPG = 12.9 RPG = 6.7 BPG = 0.9 A/TO = 0.5 PF/G = 3.5 March/April (8 games) MPG = 31.6 FG% = 49.0% 3P% = 41.7% FT% = 80.4% PPG = 17.0 RPG = 7.6 BPG = 1.0 A/TO = 0.5 PF/G = 2.9
This kid was averaging close to 17, 8, & 1 when we needed him the most.
It would not be a surprise to me if he got as high as 1st team honors at some point. Say what you want about Duell, he was a solid player, but he never put up numbers that ever made you think that he had that kind of upside. I think Brett, under the right circumstances, is capable of something like that.

KK you do realize I said a BETTER version of Josh Duell. Duell was no slouch he lite up Robin Lopez who is in the NBA. He had an injury plagued senior year of course. Hard to compare Brett to someone - maybe Cory Osinski - I don't know? Like I said I think he's got a good chance to be all-MAAC this year with the toe injury/mono behind him. I think all three of juniors will have very good year and we certainly will need them to if Siena is going to contend for a MAAC championship.

Bisping is one of my favorites-- love his tenacity. It's like when Go Siena puts up the charts of the stats of Long versus Franklin etc... they look good until you compare the record. It's not about being positive or putting anyone down. We pumped everybody up all last summer and look what happened. It's just that there really shouldn't be any comparisons until the career is over. For now all they care about is winning. We will see soon enough if it was mostly about the injuries and you know where I will place the blame (hint-- it won't be the players).
