I don't have any issues with the selections (Ok, maybe Drame for Lopez or Robinson). For the most part, they got it right. Masiello might be right about Richards. Some real good players didn't make it due to injuries: Hart, Williams, Bisping.
That said, I do think Wright deserved to be in the conversation. He is, arguably, a top 15 player in the league.

See you know what matters but the selection folks only care about the points. That's why its hard for true pgs or pass first players to make those teams that's not always true.. last two years Ronald Moore Avg 7 ppg one year and 8ppg the next and made 2nd team ALL MAAC one year 1st team the next -- its about winning and the Saints didn't win.. and quite frankly Quis and Lavon didnt deserve it, other players worked harder and improved more than them. Well that's the first thing I said. We did not have a good year so getting your leading scorer on a team is good enough. Also you are appreciated for being good at your position if your team wins was my point. Monmouth had a better season than we did. But a player that scores alot can get a spot even if on a bad team

Robinson deserved to make a team but surprised he got first team. He had a better year than Wright but his numbers were only "slightly" better. Robinson - 31.9 MPG - 13.4 PPG - 3.3 RPG - 3.8 APG - 1.9 TO - 1.7 Steals - .423 FG - .386 3 PT FG - .796 FT Wright - 36.6 MPG - 12.7 PPG - 4.3 RPG - 5.0 APG - 2.6 TO - 2.1 Steals - .435 FG - .286 3 pt FG - .679 FT But Robinson's team finished four places higher and went 2-0 against Wright's team. stop it Robinson lead his team 4th place finish ( and I might add beat the Saints twice) Wright lead his team to 8th place finish...again Robinson worked harder in off season and improved more. Wright was clearly better last year - this year not the case-- Wright has to work harder Like it or not, the spoils of war goes to the victors.

Wright dominated Casimir in rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks while shooting the same percentage from the floor. Wright belonged over Casimir who they could have just given rookie of the year to and left him off the all conference teams. Also, compare the numbers on Wright against Okereafor or Deon Jones, not even close. Counting Poole that is at least 4 that Marquis should have been named over. nope sorry am not buying it siena finished 8th wright didn't have a good year and in fact may have regressed a tad Casimir is dominant player and deseved 2rd team Iona won a lot of games. Quis might not be in top 4 point guards in conference. As for other players Rider and Monmouth finish way higher than siena. 8th place teams don't deserve much in way of all maac honors All true, as much as it hurts.
