Monmouth did all they could to hand Siena the game. We had 3 unforced turnovers in out of bounds plays that led to lay ups, up 11 late in 2nd half and Saints choke again. Dont want to pick on one kid, but will be glad when he is graduated - he had a very bad last 7 min --kid tries so hard feel bad for him, but man he killed us today. Another tough day for Lavon, still think they should have rested him also. Mo White by far our best defensive guard, too bad he cant hit sand from the beach -- its been this sort of year that Robinson banks in a shot to take lead, but Saints would have found a way to lose. JO-- had the flu. Ryan Oliver was big those guys need some help

Should not be a shock that Siena lost . . . I would wager that Robinson made the first bank three of his career tonight . . . it has been that kind of season . . .

We throw the out of bounds pass deep every time the other team knows it and has more guys there then we do.

This game meant nothing. Thursday is all that matters. Guaranteed 20 loss season.

Yes agree with Tony. Lavon hurt sit him. Still to many reach in foolish fouls. Going out on a limb, don't dislike the kid but Evan needs to move on. He has done a lot for Siena but!!! just doesn't understand his role. Plays he tries to make turnover after turnover, in amongst the trees, and never ever gets a call.
Just not enough talent and players, to many injuries. High point is that the kids played their hearts out. Take away the inbound passes, coach can't throw them in and that is taught as they are growing up and they might have pulled it up. Look for some players not to be back. No predictions. Ashamed that the program slipped this low but excruciating circumstances were there also. Enough blame to go around coaching, Hymes should have been on the bench IMO, fouls, and the lack of D. But even the D can be explained unfortunately due to the lack of players.

Bad luck and we aren't a smart team (basketball IQ) either. Don't get loose balls/50 balls and the focus isn't there. We need more players and a shake up on the coaching staff. Guy calls into post-game defending Mitch and bashing Jimmy. Misspractice, anyone?

Well now you guys found out what happens when this team tries to extend the game. WE end up fouling their 82% shooter-- awesome. They saved what-- 12 seconds after Monmouth used their gimmie fouls? Then turnover (the EXACT type of turnover I said would happen), dunk, ballgame. Brilliant strategy.

These kids are not uncomfortable with losing, they bounce right back and give the same bullshit responses we get from the HC.
I remember Mitch's second year. His players played for him and he had a respectable season considering the injuries. Downey had a heart of a lion, he pissed me off with all those floaters, but the kid played his balls off!
I don't see any of that with this group. I just don't see any progress with this group or with the coach. All I see is a total gut and rebuild in three years.

Hymes was hardly the only one throwing the ball away He is the senior Fair enough, but the whole team was throwing passes at their teammates' knees - or to no one, or just handing the ball over. You can't bench everyone.
