We are on the way up once again. I feel good about the next two years. Then we need to sustain it. Winning is the only answer. The only promotional campaign that matters. Fans will come and see a winner. I.believe we will win

Next year is a big question mark, we will be dependent on freshmen always a bit dicey. We are looking at 500 season or slightly better unless freshmen can play immediately. The MAAC is a guard league- and we have a ton of question marks in backcourt. I’d feel much more confident if we could bring in an experienced 2/3. I think our front court will be tops in MAAC next year- but like I’ve said its well-known guards win in the MAAC

Fortunately, we are pretty loaded (on paper) up front. With Silas and Brett coming back and a seasoned JO and WB we don't need Fisher to contribute much at all. Also fortunately, guards are the easiest to ramp up and the point is covered by Marquis. In theory, if we are going to go all-in on a freshman class, this is the situation to do it. If we needed frosh bigs or a PG to contribute immediately I'd be much more concerned.
What makes me most concerned is that I though we'd be so good this year but here we are at the end of the year and we pretty well suck. Sure we're missing Brett and Imoh but JO is playing pretty good as is WB. We are at season's end and you'd think that adjustments could've been made by now. Sure, Robbie and Lavon aren't 100% - and maybe that's the difference but man what a knife edge that is.

Be careful what you wish for...it may have a much bigger impact if that transfer is unexpected.

Already a huge drop in actual butts in seats at the TU. Patsos is going to have a hard time, people are already not happy with this guy mostly due to his antics, results and in game coaching decisions. People in my section and other season tix holders I know are all talking and it isn't in a positive manner. Lots of rumbling. Six years of being irrelevant, not good, all while UA keeps winning. Noticed their gym & more people have been showing. Siena admin really needs to get their shit together and define a vision for the program.

Team needs another 6'4 -6'6 lanky athlete. This way they can get a true 3 or play 3 guards. Not having a true 2 or 3 that past 5 years has really hurt us. Siena was always good at getting 1 of them.
Fasion Archabald Jordan Ubiles
The list goes on, we need 1 bad.

I'm not sure what Paige could do given some 3 time and a green light to shoot.

I'm not sure what Paige could do given some 3 time and a green light to shoot. Nobody is. And if he's not going to play the 3, then he's no good to us. If Patsos is unwilling to even try him there, then maybe we already have our answer.

Practice is where Paige must show he can play the 3. I thought he was recruited as a big guard and would play 2/3 for us. He has to prove it in practice and beat someone out. Hard to do as a freshman though.

Hard to do as a freshman though. maybe i am reading too much into this, BUT, he instead gets thrown to the wolves at a position not suited for him, then gets benched for making mistakes? w poole hobbled, long hobbled, no other real player of not to play a solid 2/3, jimmy couldn't find a few minutes each half at the 3 for paige, vs getting tore up inside by guys way bigger?
