Kinnon LaRose from Ogdansburg HS (NY) He's a 6'4" wing that specializes in shooting the ball. Google him. Couple nice videos. He recently was the athlete of the week out there but I have not seen much video of him at all handling the ball. So far of the video Ive seen both Huerter and Platek offer more. It does look like hes filled out a little but the fact there seems to be little if any video of him ball handling leaves a lot of questions. who exactly are they playing up there? They played two section 2 teams and lost both... badly to Scotia. 105-22 Gouverneur 84-38 Franklin Academy 94-43 Canton 88-43 Franklin Academy 102-53 Salmon River 73-35 Potsdam 107-31 Brushton-Moira 88-49 Salmon River 93-45 Plattsburgh 93-50 Massena 111-27 Gouverneur 97-42 Canton 46-49 Cohoes50-72 Scotiaso far looks like only Hartford has offered him. If you can get Huerter and/or Platek to come to Siena this year, please do. This kid has good size and can shoot the 3. IF he had a great handle, we'd never get him.

Watched him play last year well coached team good player but MAAC D1 level? He strikes me as being A somewhat better Joel W. Very similar players.. Better talent out there ...... We need to find it. Who'd ya see him against? Vville in the sectionals nothing against him but I see him more as an AE type player

Some tweets from recruiting "experts" on Nico's commitment to Siena. Sounds like Jimmy and company hit a homerun. Hopefully we can get another stud and we'll really be in great shape.

Late on this but 2015 Nico Clareth to #Siena is an unreal pull for the Saints. A bucket getter & an alpha dog who lives to compete. Steal.

Nico Clareth committed to Siena last night. Was very impressed when I saw him in December. Big-time scorer. One of DMV's best availables.

Nico Clareth (@15_NC) is a big time pick up for #Siena...A confident volume scorer, who is explosive. Congrats Nico!

With Nico Clareth (Siena) off the board, our top uncommitted 2015s are Mamadou Ndiyae, Josh Ayeni, Gary Jefferson, Donte Etheridge #DMVhoops

Who'd ya see him against? Vville in the sectionals nothing against him but I see him more as an AE type player I asked because I know he hurt his knee pretty bad before the sectionals, and when I saw him up in GF, he shot awful. But he did have a knee brace on, that he didn't wear at Albany Academy. Watch the tape of him against AA. He killed them, and I thought they were the best team in the area last year. By no means am I saying he's a world beater. He just fits a real need we have. It would be nice to get a kid that can really shoot and do other things. He's just an option, that I think has interest in us. Sometimes you need to see kids for a certain aspect that thye excel in, and not the whole package. Does he fit a viable need for us? And beleive me, he rebounds, and knows how to pass. His biggest weakness is defintely not being an eye-popping athlete.

You are right he played very well vs an excellent AA team and played well vs Vville. He wasnt hurt at that time and had a nice game. OFA is a well coached team.

It's no secret I like Cain and I think he's obtainable. He has a lot of decent offers from 2013.. But the offers from 2014 we can compete with at least according to VerbalComm.
If we could lock him up with Clareth Fisher Wormly what a class that would be.......

We have no NJ connections, and he's got bettter programs involved. Getting him would be a minor miracle.

One thing about JP is he's smooth we certainly have PT to offer some of the more attractive offers may involve a little more sitting vs playing. All goes to selling a big fish in a small pond adage. I do see your point but one can only hope.....

We need to have a Philly/NJ connection. Siena's name is known in those parts and we'd do well. It's great to get kids from Maryland but neglecting South Jersey/Philadelphia is ridiculous.

I am very happy we hot Nico but we beat Fsirfield, UMBC, and CoC. I do believe if he waited until April he would have had more offers

Specially considering our track record in the PA area.
