All the coaches who had success at Siena had A10 talent on their teams! And they should always be focused recruiting at that level ! Especially if those kids are being recruited by A10 teams located in the northeast !

That's more D1 coaches offering him than have offered Dyaire Holt or than offered Kenny Wormley, but you have a problem with someone saying Siena should LOOK at him? Easy Mr. Platek! I like Andrew but the only kid I'd be recruiting in this area right now is the Mack kid from CCHS. He'd be a great get, but probably will go higher. It's funny how in 10 days time, you went from mocking me to saying he's "too good for Siena" in the recruiting philosophy thread. "Easy Mr Platek".

The "Easy Mr. Platek " line was in response to the post, "Dad?" from oneindian to you earlier in the thread. I know you're not his Dad fool. I do like Andrew, like I said TWICE in this thread. He needed some work, and I heard he did some, but I will see for myself soon. Since he'll be here two more years, and 5 miles from the campus, I'm sure Jimmy and his staff will be aware of him. Last year, Mack was def ahead of him. When I see both this year, I'll let you know what I think about them both this year. ps--You sure it was ME, that said he was "too good for us?" Or was it a sources opinion I usually respect? READ the posts. Slow down Luca, being stupid is what got you whacked in the film world.

Funny, in the recruiting philosophy thread, you just claimed you didn't say this. I'm sure everyone who actually reads this can see.

Platek is def D-1, but he really needs to work on his handle, and his ability to score off the bounce. The rest of his game is pretty good. Did I say this too moron?

Mack and him play the same position, and as of last year, I'd only recruit Mack since they do play the same position. I saw Nails light up Platek for 40+ too, and that lack of defensive ability concerned me for the mid-major level. Maybe he's improved his foot speed, and handle? I haven't seen him yet this year. They (Mack/Platek) both have time to get better, or regress. You can try to lock me in to one opinion while you throw out a list of 6 kids we should be recruiting in '16, and calling Heurter one of the "top guards in the country"

I said Siena should look at him , you mocked me, and said only Mack should be recruited. You're trying to back pedal on what you said and continue with your name calling because you can't stand being called out in your lies. It's a good thing you bought a place on this forum, Tony would have banned anyone else who attacked and name called half as much as you.

While I agree that local talent should be recruited I guess when talking about some local kids we have somewhat of a double standard. We want the best recruits available and we fault Patsos for getting kids with no A-10 offers yet we want local kids who have signed with teams below MAAC level. You can't have it both ways. I also don't get the comments that Patsos' recruiting has been sub par to date. The first year he got starters, Wright and Long, both of with will be 1000+ scorers for Siena. In his first full recruiting season he got WB an athletic big, who will likely have a very productive MAAC career. Next year he has a 3* forward with 3 or 4 A-10 offers and a backup PG who has made the Adidas Tip Off Tournament all tournament team and my yet "blow up" (much like some local talent is expected to do). In the out years he has a four star recruit, and a 3* Center who will likely get A-10 looks. Now I know an athletic, shooting wing is needed and that should be addressed asap. That need aside, getting one or two quality recruits per class is a reasonable goal. So far I think with a short track record Patsos is on par, not below it. Again I know we would all like to get the second coming of the Big Three in each recruiting class, but that is not likely to happen. Siena fans are an impatient bunch but patience is needed. Rebuilding is a process, usually a multi-step process.

How many times did Nails score 41 last year? Well on what I can tell from looking up his name online and timesunion and troy record he had 44 against Schenectady ..40 against colonie and 41 on g land really enjoy the HS season, get to watch alot of players..............and to cheer for them to find a spot at the next level....................Nails is a scorer on this level but not really a bonafide sniper/shooter, Platek can really shoot it as can Wiscowski (and a handful of others not mentioned)..............Kevin Huerter is really solid plus an excellent shooter, brother Tom is a tweener in many aspects..................not going to mention others, but there are others that have been mentioned here already that are excellent players...............the thing that I find an issue with many of these kids is that physically they are not D1 ready, not saying they can't get there (maybe another yr at HS, maybe prep school, maybe 3rd-4th yr in college they get there), but if Siena is interested in an impact player right out of the gate as a frosh, not sure any of them would fit that bill, and that might be a fair assessment....................but it is always necessary for both Siena & UA to be looking at the kids in their own backyard, makes logical sense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
