Lavon needs to shoot more if he's gonna play the SF. It's not just Wright. Lavon was the better shooter coming in. He needs to shoot more just to keep defenses honest. Even like 30 attempts a year may be enough. You have to at least make people think you might want to shoot it. Siena will certainly need Lavon (although Im not sure I want him launching from the perimeter) or the four to stretch the D. As long as three players on the floor are unwilling unable to stretch the D on a regular basis... teams will pack it in a bit. I really don't like the idea of the rebounders being stretched from the paint jacking up threes but with the current makeup of the team its going to take a continued focus on team rebounding. Im hoping we see Poole more at the three this year and Cole at the two or vice versa. Poole is FAR more effective at the three. I should have clarified. I was more geared toward last year's lineup. Brandwijk and others could change the needs on this year's team making Lavon not need to shoot threes and just focus on grinding out the midrange and in game.

Poole is our starting 2g and Cole is still looking for his minutes and prob wont start. You dont want Lavon to shoot from outside? That is a shame... Patsos def wants him to. I expect to see more of this youtu.be/gQ2NwUCTWjE

Lavon has a sweet mid-range game from the outside as a lefty. If he goes strong to his right (when he puts the ball on the floor) he will be almost unguardable in the MAAC. I also expect him to be money on the foul line. He will be a three-time all-MAAC player...so glad we have him and Wright for three more years at Siena. They are two incredible building blocks to get this program back to winning MAAC championships and being mid-major power nationally.
