Well, he's big and athletic. I hope he's got the PG skills. 6.5 ppg doesn't scream scorer. Dwayne Archbold averaged fewer than 10 ppg as a junior in high school.

I think we have done well. young player who I think is just starting to get to where he wants to go. Good court vision like Wright from a great program. With Wright serving as a mentor, nothing but good!

also just thinking. 6'3" at the 1. You've got to love the size and length we are slowly starting to develop.

We should have signed #32 but we lost out to Louisville. #3 in green is the best guard on the floor.... My boy #3 signed with DePaul recently.....damn, I liked him!! lol

We'll never compete with the BCS elites but the weaker programs in the high-major leagues you can beat players for. Siena has a much better chance to be in the NCAAs over the next few years than Depaul does.

I doubt if Providence offer RR a scholarship and not a year of prep and a scholarship he goes to Providence. Kids 99 times out of 100 sign with the high major if the offer is there. You can dream of competing against high majors for talent it won't make it so. Let's start beating higher level MM before you set your sights higher.

The Bill Murray's of the world aren't downers according to them but "realist". Edwin Ubiles had high-majors offers. Owen Wignot (Penn St) had a high-major offer. Basabe had high-major offers. I'm pretty sure OD Anosike had a couple of high-major offers. I'm not saying Siena is going to compete with Villanova or Syracuse for recruits but if you get back to a high level you can compete not only with the high end A10 schools but with the lower tier Big East schools. Jimmy should try and get the best players possible. And schedule the best opponents as possible. That will continue to grow the program. This is Siena not Loyola we aspire to be a great mid-major program. Why set those lofty goals to be a top mid-major program? As JFK said - "Not because it is easy but because it is hard".

Finally got to check out this video on the newest Saint Kenneth Wormley (keeping it formal, we haven't met yet) The overall highlight is light on Kenneth, but I like the fact that you can tell when his team makes a basket, he is immediately yelling and pointing to his teammates to organize the defense, not congratulating the scorer or just jogging back nonchalantly. A good thing to see in an heir apparent PG. Oh, and him taking it to the tin on the run-out at the 2:40 mark is a nice thing to see. Some long form video of Wormley: He commits a foul in the first 45 seconds of the game; he'll fit right in at Siena ;-) but in all seriousness, makes a few nice passes for open corner 3's, overall looks very fluid and comfortable with the ball but doesn't take the air out of it, moves it quickly. Doesn't look to be much of a scoring threat, but obviously that's not his top objective. Looking forward to seeing more of Kenneth in the coming year before he dons the green and gold!
