Great game- with all due respect to Quinny and Griffs ( both good teams) I think these two teams are best in MAAC -- hope they enjoy it this year- next year a new sheriff in MAAC

Manhattan wins in OT. Marist loses at Fairfield. Rider playing Canisius now. If Rider loses Siena cliches the #5 seed tonight.

I think both these teams play at different level than Siena is playing this year and I can't imagine Siena playing this well next year.

Manhattan, and Iona especially just seem to have a lot more talent than we do. I'm just not so sure we can close that gap next year. Maybe Cole helps. As far as Wolfe, I just don't see it, at least based on what I've seen so far.

I think top 3 next year are Iona, QPAC and Siena. Manhattan loses a lot but they have some pretty good recruits coming in. Qpac loses pieces but they still return good talent and have some good recruits next year. Iona and Siena will be having big time battles the next few years. Siena and Iona will only have 2 seniors each next year

Jaspers achilles heel is their poor FT shooting!!!!!!!! They also commit too many TOs. They cause them, but they commit way to many.

I think both these teams play at different level than Siena is playing this year and I can't imagine Siena playing this well next year. Hard to say how good Siena will be next year. I mean I know we will be good, just how good we won’t know till next year. How much do the freshmen improve? We know from past experience a player in MAAC biggest jump is usually between freshmen and sophomore year. If Wright can develop a jumper he will be one of best guards in MAAC- Long extends his range and gets stronger he will be a top combo forward wing whatever you want to call him . White will improve his shot and get stronger. Jo and Wolfe will get stronger ( Big men at MAAC almost always take a year or so to develop- I look for big jumps from both of those players. How good is Paige? And the big question, Is Cole the best player on team – if he is, Siena will probably win the MAAC. Even if he is a solid double figure scorer Siena will be vastly improved I feel confident saying Siena will be one of the top teams in the MAAC next year with the potential to be the best team in MAAC Depending on off Season coaching changes I expect Iona- Quinny and Siena to be picked top 3 Iona loses their best player and 3 of their top 6, Jaspers lose their 3 best players and more than likely their coach. Quinny will be good but lose 2 of their top 3 or 4 players. Marist loses 2 of their top 4—so potential is there. AT the worst I expect us to be a top 3 team next year- and with Tournament in Albany I like our chances

As far as Wolfe, I just don't see it, at least based on what I've seen so far. Upperclassmen they have more talent but those players are graduating (most of them are at least) on Iona and Manhattan while Siena's freshmen will continue to get better. How much better will Wright, Long, White, JO and Wolfe will be with another year of seasoning? Poole will have a lot less pressure with Cole as a scorer on the floor. Paige hopefully will give us good depth. Bisping, Oliver and Silas will all provide solid play as role players. I agree that the top 3 in no particular order will be Siena, Iona and Quinnipiac in 2014-2015.

You make them play yours. Siena might not look like we are loaded with talent individually but collectively we are pretty good now... next season we will be even better... we already have demonstrated we can play with anyone... we fear no one now and are feared by all
