I don't know if Wincowski is the answer, but we need more scorers. People talk about defense winning championships, but actually in the NCAA offense does. In the past 15 years, no team has won the NCAA championship without scoring more than 73 points per game. All three of our losing coaches-- Beyer, Lanier and B.guro had a defense first philosophy-- didn't work out. Patsos doesn't quite fit that mold but he is known for his physical style and right now Siena averages 70 per game--- 219th in the nation. I am not saying Siena will become national champions if they score 3 more points per game but we should be following the trend and scoring the ball. Besides, it is more fun. 24 points a half is not going to cut it lol.

Playing this many freshman and sophomores couple with lack of speed and athleticism in the returning players... you've got a recipe for struggles on O

well... we are going to find out what level Wincowski really is over the next six to eight months.
Purdue is the latest to inquire of Wincowski and he will be joining the City Rocks post season.

hes going to close the season out with around 1,700 points. He will challenge Fredette's 2,404 section 2 record. It will definitely be interesting to see how it all plays out

Playing AAU with the Rocks will be very telling. They'll be an objective measure of what he's really made of against some real competition. If he lights up the AAU circuit too, then Patsos has to grab him while the getting's good.

If he lights it up with the Rocks, what is his incentive to sign early with Siena?

Well if he does light it up for the Rocks, I'm sure gg will get Baron on him to become the second coming of Billy. Everyone knows that once someone sees the cc campus and gym it is a done deal.

this has all the makings of "the one that got away"... so I hope Patsos is all over recruiting this kid should he pan out over the next year.

It's great to be so optimistic. Two local kids have already committed to U A which normally doesn't ever have a player from the great State of New York. The kid will eventually got to the school which he feels is best for him. Maybe Jimmer will lure him to BYU.

I dont think hes Mormon. its not so much optimism as it is we have seen this happen a number of times. Simply want Patsos there if Wincowski is capable of playing on the big stage.
