Yes, SPC is a bottom feeder, along with Rider and Marist, historically. And now we have Monmouth, a team that has finished with a sub 200 RPI for the past 7 years, working on 8. And I'm not sold on Quinny either, as basketball facilities do not win championships, of which they had none in the NEC tournament and is just 0-3 all time in non conference postseason play. The bottom 20 MAAC ranking may be an aberration, it has happened before. But there are only so many bottom feeders you can add before you become a bottom feeder. I agree facilities dont win championships-- money helps and couple those facilities with money and I expect Quinny to be decent- probably becoming the premier program in the MAAC when Siena leaves.. problem with MAAC is Rider Marist and Monmouth are former NEC teams and fund accordingly .. add to that the low budgets of Niagara Canisius and SPC - I expect to see more conf RPI on wrong side of 20 going forward. I've said it many times-- and its true the day Siena leaves MAAC - the MAAC becomes a low major-- basically the NEC+
