Have you ever heard “Dress for success”….that’s what Siena is doing. Now if Jimmy can get them to run onto the court Saturday it will be even better…lol

I don't feel too strongly about the S, but if we're changing stuff, can we get update the SlugDog with the glassy stoner eye?

Wow - Whole lot of talk on unis. Who really cares? Let's go Pat and Saints! Hope you get that waiver!

Waiver? Going to hear next Friday morning? Could they drag it out any longer. I bet he gets it! Seems odd it's taking this long.

These things take much longer than they should.
I know another player still waiting to hear is Jonathan Graham at Maryland (from PSU). His transfer was finalized end of August. He applied for the waiver in early September. In early October Mark Turgeon said he thought they were still 3 weeks away from a decision. He still hasn't heard yet.

the only thing I didn't like about the uniform last night was the warm up shirt/jacket. I assume the team will wear the real warm up shirt/jacket at the UAlbany game.

Hope it's taking this long for a "good" reason. I think Cole brings that ability to beat his man off the dribble and create for others with the size to take it all the way to the hole and finish. It's been awhile since we had that.

Understood...and I agree but KK makes a great point as well...what Cole is proven to be does not mesh with what the team is doing. ..he must buy in and let his skills fit in to his role..The ball moves for one thing...not a lot of dribbling but alot of running. ..that is an adjustment for him

He dribbled a bit much to. If Cole gets the waiver JP will bring him around.

PPC makes a very valid point about Cole from what I have seen in a few practices, the waiver changes whether the adjustment period will be on the court or in practice this year. As for Evan, he will either learn to break those old habits or I am sure he will sitting (unlike last year, when he knew any threats of benching were merely that.....) I swear though, I did see him pass up a few jack it up out his butt shots that I KNOW he would have put up last year

In the first half- there was a time when Even was put in only for a short period of time. Why ? Because he turned over the ball within 5 or 6 minutes. Patsos is not going to stand for that! Now in the second half..Even played a lot better! Its called discipline..which was lacking last year!

Patsos knew what Cole's game was like when gave him the scholarship. He probably thinks Cole is similar to Cromier at Loyola. He may calm his game down some, but not try to completely change it. Every team needs a guy who has proven he can create his own shot outside of the offense when things break down. Cole can do it off the dribble, spot up, or get to the rim. Siena currently has no player like that with size other than maybe White. Not trying to be a kill joy, but judgement about who can do what, and the impact of the freshmen need to be reserved until several games are played against legit D1 competition. Running the offense will be a lot more difficult against D1 competition that has talent equal or better than Siena.
