I'd be surprised if we don't recruit a legit shot blocker to replace Imoh. This kid reminds me of Brandwijk. Need a rim protector for '15-'16.
ps--I would hope Lavon works on his right hand this summer. He develops that and he'll be unstoppable driving in the paint.

Since there was some discussion on him in another thread...video of Sam Miller. Looks like an up recruit to me... Needs a much better left hand by the basket or some of those shots will wind up in the 8th row. Just watched this. Yeah we got "this guy" covered. He looks like a decent player. We just already have couple of them. Brandwijk is a more explosive dribble driver though, I think. Haven't seen enough of him here to tell if he's a got as good a handle as either him or Bisping...or Wolfe. My guess is not much different. Dunks when he's supposed to though and more bouncy than Bisping in tight. Shoots in the 70s from the FT line which is good. Shades of Hayward in his game. I would take him for sure but shotblocker still may be more pressing.

You can't help but critique a player and point out where he has to improve, but we are looking at a junior with another year to develop so you do have to love his aggressive play going to the hoop.

Norwalk has 2 D-1 forwards. 6'8'' Steve Enoch and 6'5'' Roy Kane. Believe Enoch has numerous offers
Iona has offered both. Enoch also has offers from Fairfield, Rhode Island and Drexel with a lot of programs showing interest.

According to maxpreps Enoch blocked 62 shots in 18 games this year. And averaged near 15 & 12. Can't shoot FTs. If that isn't a replacement for Silas, I don't know what is.

He just never gets that far.

With Taplin and Holt both in 2025 class, I would like to see both in the mix. Holt looks like a 6-8, 225lb big guy who cod improve a lot this summer

Only had one D-1 offer (Canisius). I didn't know he went the prep route too. Are he and Taplin at the same school? ps---and I hope we don't have to wait 11 years for them!!
