One group that must be pulling for Carm to stay on a HC is the team doctors. They must be making a killing under Carm's tenure given all of the player injuries and illnesses.

Tough watch. Look out for the paper bag over the head crowd. I wouldn't want to be seen there either.

Blah, Blah, Blah... Tonight should be interesting:
Apparently Siena has become a walk-on focused team. Go Saints?

If people really want to make a statement, go pack the Armory for the Patroons opener and leave the MVP a ghost town for the Siena game.

I will be at the girls sectionals at HVCC, not even considering going to the Siena game. My list of Friday things to do, High School Sectionals, Patroons, any painting of my house then watch dry, root canals, clean the fish tank, anything really.

I won't be going to the MVP to see this game. I'll go the Niagara game to see my Alma Mater and Paulus. The product on the floor for Siena doesn't represent Siena basketball. Unless the talent shortcomings are addressed I won't be attending. It is too much to assume that there will be a HC change next year. So it all comes down to roster "realignment", jettisoning the DII and II talent and adding players who can immediately significantly contribute at the DI level. That is what is needed especially if there is not a HC change next year.

Even if Carm wants to redo the roster...Siena is in Loudonville, not Lexington. He's not going to just grab 5 blue chippers on demand. Our NIL has a limit. I heard Joe Girard III got $700K for his year at Clemson. Siena can afford maybe a month of his time ... in the off season.
If Carm comes back I think the expectation should be .500 or better with lots of upsides on kids making a sophomore jump. I don't think Carm is mentally in a place to continuously recruit. He said it...family time is more important. In the old world you could probably get by after a few years with just getting a few decent frosh each year and let your soph/Jr/Sr kids carry the load with maybe a transfer or JUCO or 2. Coaches now need to plan on rebuilding the full roster every year. No down time. I don't think Carm will be happy or successful in that environment.

I’ll just stay home and watch this one on ESPN+. I imagine we’ll struggle to put 2k in the building tonight. For most there are definitely better options available tonight than trekking downtown to watch this catastrophe.

SD still seems to be down and out. You’ll see SD Tuesday night at the tournament for his swan song.

I know it’s Manhattan but not a bad start. Rooting for the kids as it’s not their fault Carm failed the program. The ball is moving well on offense, love the inside out game with Geo!
